Despite exploding technology and increased worker productivity, millions of Americans are worse off financially today than they were 52 years ago. Meanwhile, the rich get much richer. We need an economy that works for all, not just the billionaire class.

For over 55 years, Bernie Sanders has been whining incessantly about financial insecurity, all while sitting comfortably in government for the same duration, bitching about the same tired crap. In all that time, what has he actually done? Zip. Zero. Nada. Instead, he’s managed to line his own pockets, becoming a millionaire, and jet-setting around on private planes, stuffing his face with caviar, all while moaning about the very issues he’s failed to address. If people are worse off today, and it’s all happened on his watch, then maybe it’s high time this do-nothing, half-century-long politician packed his bags and got the hell out of government. He’s had his chance, and he’s accomplished jack squat for the people he pretends to care about.

The data doesn’t lie: productivity soared 243% since 1948 while wages flatlined. But blaming “billionaires” misses the real issue—government bloat. The Fair Tax Act (H.R. 25) slashes IRS overreach, lets workers keep every dollar they earn, and ends D.C.’s addiction to hidden taxes. Washington’s 1970s-era tax code fuels inequality by penalizing productivity and enabling bureaucrats to siphon wages. Real reform isn’t class warfare—it’s gutting the system that steals your paycheck before you even see it.

We need to do more to help people but wages are way up over time even including inflation.
