Beyond incubation and acceleration support, the State Government is also extending investment assistance through a dedicated ‘Fund of Funds’, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing a vibrant innovation ecosystem. Highlighted the growing role of AI in governance through initiatives such as the ‘Maha-Vistar’ app, the AI-powered ‘Crime OS’ platform and technology-driven reforms enhancing transparency, efficiency and public service delivery. AI is being leveraged across healthcare, HR management, traffic control, disaster management and monitoring systems, with Maharashtra targeting the development of 50 AI engines for various departments. Emphasised that ‘Ethical AI’ remains the cornerstone of Maharashtra’s AI vision. AI must remain inclusive, accessible and beneficial to all. MSMEs must be equal stakeholders in this transformation, while human values, accountability, transparency and responsible innovation continue to guide AI development.
