#News - A man was allegedly seen kicking his dog on the beach before walking into the water, pulling the leash despite the dog's obvious distress and reluctance to enter. Bystanders shouted at him to take the dog out of the water, but he continued to ignore their warnings and went further in. As the situation escalated, several individuals tried to intervene, but he refused to leave the water. Beach rescue arrived on the scene and called the police, leading to his arrest. During the flag march, police personnel informed the public about the implementation of Section 163 BNSS in the area and appealed to residents not to pay attention to rumours and to help maintain peace and harmony. Police also warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone attempting to disturb law and order. SSP Dehradun Pramendra Dobhal told ANI that during the ongoing protests by workers employed in industrial units located in the Selakui industrial area over demands for wage hikes, some anti-social elements attempted to disrupt peace and law and order by engaging in stone-pelting under the guise of the demonstrations.
