Despite support for deportations, polling suggests that Americans are turning against ICE. Over half say ICE is making cities less safe and nearly that number now say they support defunding ICE. I asked Tricia McLaughlin about the reaction within the administration is to this polling:

I believe the polling is skewed to project a desired outcome. Even @QuinnipiacPoll didn’t breakdown the weight percentage of each group they polled, nor the methodology. @CNN poll was outsourced to SSRS. NOTHING they polled for that pertained to @realDonaldTrump @PressSec resulted in a positive response.

It’s definitely not a good look to use CNN polls the biggest fake news out there who hate president Trump to determine if he is failing. I don’t understand how you guys would think that we changed our minds about mass deportations especially when Trump holds a 92% approval rating for those that voted for him. President Trump should not be ruled by polls especially since the majority of the polls are rigged against him, the proof is that all the polls said Kamala was going to win in 2024.

It's not ICE that's making cities less safe, it's the Antifa swine and their cohorts, along with the corrupt democrats that are obstructing rather than helping ICE. If the police were doing their job, this would be going smoothly with little notice by law abiding people. Trump really needs to squash this before we have a repeat of the 2000 scene where lawlessness tips the next election. That's the democrats plan.

@TriciaOhio It is more about the method than the agency. Walking up to people at gas stations or in a store asking for papers. I thought when this deportation project started under @Sec_Noem , they knew where these illegals were. If they are bad criminals, I would expect a database!
