@freethepeople @mkibbe Supposedly, there are 17 intelligence agencies(that we known)! FBI=36,900,NSA=32,000 IRS=89,767, CIA=?probably tens of thousands. Once all the agencies are listed, I'd bet over 600,000 have access to our PERSONAL data w/o a warrent! What is the problem w/ a DOGE read only audit?

The way the courts currently protect the 4th Amendment has created giant loopholes. Due to the 3rd-party doctrine, the government can collect basically everything you do, without a warrant. The Surveillance Accountability Act defines "search" and closes this loophole.

Under FISA Section 702, any administration can spy on Americans without a warrant. It’s a ridiculous loophole that Congress has temporarily extended. Mike Johnson should immediately bring an amendment to the floor to require warrants and stop this unconstitutional surveillance.

Jeffries: We have all been outspoken as it relates to the out-of-control behavior unleashed on law-abiding immigrant communities by masked agents hiding their identity and far too often violating the rule of law. Often directed at people who are American citizens. And it is all unacceptable. It is one of the reasons why the American people have turned on Donald Trump and Republicans with respect to the extreme immigration policies. We should be holding the department of homeland security accountable.. And yet we are seeing none of that accountability coming from Republicans. It is unfortunate, but Democrats will continue to make the case to the American people that this is all abnormal. So much of it is unlawful, and it's got to stop.
