As someone who basically dives as a reaper 5 most of my sessions, to hunt other emissaries, and will absolutely miss diving as it was a core part of my playstyle. Turning off diving is a huge W for the game.

removing diving entirely makes it clear you actually only listen to one sect of your playerbase and it's the content creators who constantly complain about diving

I reaper hunt often when streaming, because it's so incredibly easy. And although it speeds up piracy, it also removes some amazing moments that could of happened if I'd just stuck around longer. This will be interesting.

please don't completely remove diving. It's a good QoL feature for casual players or players short on time who want to get right into content, like I can understand if you remove diving from Raid Voyages or World Events but please really think about this "experiment"

Removing diving altogether? Man, I'm glad I uninstalled when I did. Wake me when you add a full PVE mode without any arbitrary restrictions. Til then, I'll be on Windrose.

Lmao. Removing diving is absolutely the wrong direction. Enhancing world event loot is the way, thank goodness you did that along with the removal of raid voyages. Diving is an incredible tool, removing it is shooting the game in the leg.

So you couldn't get a single new feature out once every...4-6 months so now the features are just "when it's done"? You're in control of your own work and if you're freely admitting that you haven't been proud of it, then that is EMBARRASSING.

I’ve enjoyed my time diving as a reaper Emmy hunting. But removing diving is healthy for the game. Servers will be better. We just need HG on their own servers now kind of like how last stand is?

So games in maintenance mode which we already assumed. But diving is being turned off? FUCK YES!!! Worst thing that ever happened to the game

DO NOT remove diving. Sometimes it’s a lifesaver when events are trash (cough Ghost Fleet needs fixing cough). And what if a crew wants a fresh server with more Reapers/PvP but wants to keep their supplies and not sink? Diving is the only answer. Honestly dont delete it.

I'll miss Reaper 5 diving, though its necessity was a symptom of the larger problem and often led to sailing across the entire map to reach the one or two emissaries on the server anyway. Excited to see if servers will feel more alive during this experiment! Great changes 🔥

@RareLtd ngl ts is huge diving is super convenient sure but it genuinely dries out servers I'd love to see diving gone forever. Game hasn't hit the same since its introduction

If we can add anything to custom seas, placing cooking fires would be cool cause doing daily firelights every day for 5 years, 3 months and 26 days and only having 90 cooking spots to light. Could use some change in scenery 1,944 days and counting.

This is fantastic! Love that the raid loot will be in the emergent world events for sure especially making the BB and FOF worth it again. Turning off diving completely is gunna be really interesting and feel like a jump back in time but I'm hyped to see what happens!

I can't support removing diving. It's an infinitely useful feature from server hopping to fast travel to any specific part of the map on demand. The seas won't "feel more alive" with its removal, but frustration of being stuck on a server and endless travel will increase.

So what I heard was blah,blah,blah we've abandoned the Pirate game completely. But yer gonna get to play dress up easier. Complete Rubbish!

No more diving! 🙌🏻 Ive missed the days of loading in checking tables for emissaries, going on the hunt for boats, making friends and enemies, being contested at world events. Im excited for the shared world to feel more like a sand box instead of a diving simulator

Removing diving is a bold choice, certainly. Diving gave me the ability to choose how sweaty I wanted my session to be. It'll basically go back to the days when a persistent crew harassing you would just be a constant pain in the neck unless you manually logged out and in again.

Deleting raid voyages?! Glad I uninstalled when I did. No new content other than the shop (pass is still money grabbing). What a joke man… I want to expect more but Jesus it doesn’t feel worth the heart ache. Give us a reason to come back to the game not take shit away.. sodumb

I think moving hourglass matches to their own servers would make a bigger difference than removing diving to voyages

Blah blah blah… we are so tired of hearing how the team failed again. NOBODY CARES ABOUT CUSTOM SEAS!!! Wake up and listen to the community. I am a day one player and the game has never been worse. And for that reason… I’m out. Good luck Rare, you are going to need it.

please bring back voyages that have more loot the higher your promotion. its kind of lame that every quest is like 3 loot items now
