Strain was last seen at 9:52 p.m. Friday on Gay St. after drinking downtown. An MNPD helicopter searched that area today, including the riverbank. Detectives on the ground also searched, but to no avail. The investigation as to his whereabouts is active.

So it’s ok to serve him until he is hopelessly drunk and then kick him out!!! You can tell he is lost, they should have put him in a cab or his fraternity bros should have kept an eye on him!!! Luke Bryan’s Bar should be held responsible for whatever happened to him!!!

He should have never been alone in that condition. This is terrible 😞

The guy in far right of camera wearing a white hoodie appears to watch Riley but doesn’t cross over with everyone else until another a guy shows up in a similar white hoodie and jeans. Just an observation that seemed odd.

Amazing how a bar can overserve someone to the point they lose control of themselves and than kick them out alone. Haven’t seen anything besides the bar’s statement but they should be held accountable

Highly possible he was drugged. Most college kids aren’t even starting their night til at least 10pm. For him to be wasted already it could definitely mean he was slipped something.

Friends and/or fraternity brothers should never have let him leave by himself in that condition. He’s obviously intoxicated. 🙏🙏

Riley Strain's fraternity brothers / friends FAILED him when he needed help. Looking at this video, Riley had no chance of making it back to his hotel room. How do you leave your friend in that condition. SHAMEFUL 😕

He’s got to be in the cumberland. Didn’t another guy fall into the river a few months ago after a night of drinking? Y’all gotta put barriers up or something since apparently some Broadway bars can’t stop over serving. So freaking sad, his family must be sick with worry.

@NC5 People spiking drinks has been a huge problem downtown. Wasn’t there another case of a man who blacked out due to a spiked drink and went missing for several days because of it? I hope he’s ok

He might have been with his frat brothers but clearly, he is stumbling alone. His frat brothers are way behind and aren't paying him any attention. They could care less about him and actually appear to be distancing from him. This needs to be investigated.

Surely those folks walking beside him and lady in the cowboy hat that looked right at him may recall seeing where he went. This is devastating to see him alone, clearly lost and inebriated. 😞

The two guy in white hoodie need to be questioned it seems the guy stops at the crossing signs as if he having words then crosses the street and looks back at them and seems to wave his hand like forget it then the guys cross the street later they could have followed him

We need the culture of police to be "to protect and serve" This young man avoided police because he thought he would've been arrested and put in jail for public intoxication. Police should be there to help. The city fed him alcohol, the city should help him get to his hotel

The bar should not have thrown him on the street and also his friends should have went with him if they were at all concerned for his well being.

If that's him, he's headed down to the water area where the steps are. Check the river about a Mile down. That undertow ain't no joke right in that spot. Plus you guys never clear thst area out where the pillars are. There are some aggressive homeless and crazies all hang out

Not Metros fault--this is Nashville Mayor issue...but we all know about the roofy problem on Broadway...this kid was coherently talking with his parents and within a couple hours he's this impaired? Women are drugging men on Broadway to rob them. Be vigilant!

If you put your name on the bar, you should be responsible for everything that happens there. I am sure all of these bars that stars open in Nashville have protected themselves from liability, but that should not happen. They put the name on the bar. They should be liable.

All bars, night club and restaurant should have cameras inside and outside, bar owner should be responsible for anyone leaving drunk bar tender or security should calling a cab. Up the age in order to get an drink it should be on there license ID.
