Our people are home—one of the best pieces of news that can be. Another 277 warriors have returned home from Russian captivity. The warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, and the border guards. They defended Mariupol and other directions in the Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions. I thank everyone who made this return of our people possible. I am especially grateful to the United Arab Emirates for their mediation. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, 4,552 people—both warriors and civilians—have been successfully brought back home from Russian imprisonment. We remember all those who remain in captivity. We are searching for everyone who could be there. We must bring them all home. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Open letter to all the good people on the planet from Ukrainians living in Russia-occupied Oleshky, Kherson region. “Help!!! SOS !!! We are residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, we appeal to the people of the entire civilized democratic world. First of all, we want to thank all the caring people who help Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor, and those countries and their residents who gave shelter to Ukrainians who fled the war. We also want to remind you that Ukraine is not only minerals and subsoil, Ukraine is living people... People who want to live in peace and harmony on their native land, to work, build, give birth. People who dream of peace and tranquility, of meeting their relatives, whom this damn war separated them from. People of faith, people of truth, people of common sense - do not let Ukraine and its people be torn apart. Do not let a handful of greedy tyrants destroy and plunder democracy and freedom of speech in their independent countries. How can you live in a country where they decide for you what to watch or what to listen to? In the occupied territories, people disappear without a trace. At the beginning of the war, we went to rallies against Russian troops and against Russia. We did not leave our homes for three days when they held a referendum for joining Russia 'under the barrel of a machine gun’. Ukraine does not ask for help with soldiers, as Russia replenishes its troops with North Koreans. We want to live in a Free Ukraine. We believe that the majority of people on Earth are good and intelligent people. We are Ukrainians. We are not subsoil, we are not minerals, we are living people. We want to live... People are being killed in Ukraine. Democracy and freedom of speech are being killed in the world. It has come to the point that the tyrant Putin is being praised for starting the war in Ukraine and is considered a 'good guy.' People, wake up and come to your senses. Do not let a handful of tyrants rule the world. Do not allow chaos. The whole of Ukraine is burning from the explosions of bombs and shells. In June 2023, the south of Ukraine was flooded. Many people and animals died. These were not natural disasters, this is all being done by one Kremlin freak who wants to surpass God himself. People are dying every day throughout Ukraine, many are crippled. We are being killed, and we are being told that it's our fault. Whole families are getting killed. For what? Only because the Russians, instead of building their country, came to destroy ours. Once again, we thank all the caring people around the world for your support and assistance to our Armed Forces and Ukraine. Help!!! SOS!!! Please help save and unite Ukraine. We truly value that during Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Taoiseach Micheál Martin Micheál Martin is with us, with Ukraine, that you're standing with Ukraine, seeing for yourself what's happening, and understanding what we need to defend ourselves and protect people's lives. Today we discussed the threats and challenges we face right now, as we approach the fall, when Putin is preparing new attacks against Ukraine, additional mobilization in Russia, and a further expansion of the war. It's important that today we have a decision on the European Union's new sanctions package against Russia. And I'm grateful to every European leader who made this possible. This is already the 21st package, and today Micheál assured me that he will work toward the 22nd. Now, during Ireland's Presidency of the EU, there are also decisions on the clusters for Ukraine. Two clusters have already been opened, and I am grateful for the readiness to keep supporting this work. It's very important that Ireland, as the country holding the Presidency, provides leadership, and that Ukraine can count on opening the remaining clusters. I thank Ireland and all our partners across Europe, in America, and around the world for their tangible support – and for a new support package from Ireland. It makes a difference. I thank all the people of Ireland for caring.

I was pleased to personally greet @ABaerbock at the Kyiv train station this morning. This is a symbol of our gratitude for her personal efforts to support Ukraine over the years. This is her ninth visit since Russia's full-scale invasion, and the eleventh of her tenure. On Maidan, we paid tribute to the fallen Ukrainian defenders, who gave their lives protecting Ukraine and all of Europe. I thanked my colleague for her work that has contributed to Germany taking the lead in supporting Ukraine, including the recent €3 billion military aid package, and saving thousands upon thousands of Ukrainian lives. I presented Annalena with our special MFA of Ukraine 🇺🇦 award for supporting Ukraine's diplomatic efforts in recognition of her personal efforts. During our talks, we discussed current bilateral and international issues, including ways to achieve a just and lasting peace, strengthen Ukraine, put more pressure on the aggressor, and hold Russia accountable for its crimes. I am grateful for Germany's unwavering support and Annalena's courage and commitment. "Be brave like Ukraine" is a motto that fully applies to her.

Formed by the legendary fighters Ihar “Yanki” Yankov, Andrey “Bezsmertnyi” Trotsevskyi and Radzivon “Gena” Batulin, the BVC fights for the freedom of Ukraine and of Belarus. The unit were in almost all the hot spots of the frontline - Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk (Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Horlivka, now Pokrovsk), Kharkiv (Vovchansk). These heroes are collecting for drones for their important missions. More drones means safer skies for our heroes. Check out our video below for more information.
