I’ve watching hundreds, maybe even thousands of hours of elite MLB swings. This video work was done to determine their bat path. Their bat path determined their hard contact zone. As a catcher, my goal was to be above their bat path, or below their bat path. This was accomplished by utilizing velocity, movement, and obviously, location. The disruption of a hitter’s timing creates weak contact or swing and miss. Whenever I saw hitters that had a lengthy (3.5-4ft) of FLAT bat length in the zone, I knew that we would have to be very careful. These types of hitters had much room for error in their swing. They could be late, and line it oppo, or, they could be early on a hanger, and would pull it for damage. The more downward barrel tilt I saw, the more knob up I saw, and more barrel casting toward catcher I saw, it was always a lesser hitter I was watching. Perfect example here of a flat path. High heater, and flush contact. If you see barrel drop or a cast behind on this pitch, it’s a foul ball, swing and miss, or, a pop up on the infield.

This woman completely lost it when her Ring camera notified her that a "black bear was walking on the gravel area"… only to realize the “bear” was actually her walking to her car. Dear DGCA NIA India Air India Wanted to draw your attention to a very serious matter. I was on AI 2469 Pune to Delhi. At three different times, when the flight was close to Delhi, three successive high power green colored lasers were beamed at the flight. I was able to capture only one. The flight path and log will be able to give you exact locations of the one I wasn’t able to capture. 1. Around 2120 - by the time I could get my phone and camera out, the plane had moved on and the beam stopped. Area unknown to me. 2. Around 2124 - I was able to record. The area was Churu- Tatanagar as informed by photo location feature. Recording attached. 3. Around 2128 - again, it flashed only for few seconds and by the time I started recording, it stopped. Area was Noida - Chapraula. I’ve highlighted the general area in the image attached. Threes successive beams, at regular intervals - you might want to check. There was a recent case in US just couple of weeks back where this laser pointing was taken very seriously by the agencies. And one odd guy fooling around is one thing. When we established a no-encampment zone in this corner of San Jose, neighbors couldn’t understand why the city was able to keep the entire neighborhood clear — except for the most dangerous spot: along the railway. For months, hundreds of residents living in a mobile home park just beyond the fence still dealt with the impacts of unsheltered homelessness. Dogs barked at all hours, kids were jeered at and forced to stay indoors, and blight spread through the area. This community navigated layers of bureaucracy, worked through complicated jurisdictional boundaries, and demanded better. This week, my office partnered with Union Pacific to deliver it. It shouldn’t be this hard (or take this long!) to fix something like this. We need to take a hard look at the ways our systems put up unnecessary and frustrating barriers to action, and dismantle them. Because the bottom line is: people don’t care whose land it is. They want results — and we need to deliver them, faster. These new boulders will help keep the railway clear — for the safety of people still living unsheltered, and for the quality of life of the surrounding neighborhood. 🚨ODD SCORING ALERT🚨 This is from tonight's #RedSox and Washington Nationals game, from the first inning. Here, Curtis Mead is picked off and decides to run way left of second base, and the throw from Willson Contreras hits him. For scoring purposes, this is a pickoff and a stolen base for Mead, because he took off on the pickoff and never stops or hesitates going to second, so even though the throw hits Mead, by rule it has to be a stolen base. Rules wise, this is a legal move by Mead. He isn't out of the base path because you can establish your own path, and if you don't want to run in a straight line, you don't have to (otherwise there would be no rounding of bases). You cannot be out of the basepath until a tag is attempted (and then you get three feet). #NATITUDE #DirtyWater

I was miraculously saved sometime in March 1997. That night, I was going home with my guardian from our shop in Ebute meta area. So we rushed to join a bus that looks like the driver has been working on. The engine was really hot and the driver stupidly put the remaining fuel in his keg on top of the engine. It’s all those 16 sitter bus and 7 lives was ended in the bad incident. We haven’t moved much when the bus caught fire 🔥. Everyone was rushing to get out and some got burnt as they never make it out and that includes my aunt, aunty mi Bisi! My aunt got burnt along with her little beautiful boy, papa! Whom she’s was carrying on her back. I was in the last seat in the back and the bus had all this burglary windows. The fire was becoming much, then one spirit told me to walk thru it. The sound was very clear in my head and that was how I made it out with some burns on my body but it wasn’t much like that. Please always trust your instincts. We all have our guardian angel that goes everywhere with us. They are those little words that speaks to only and directed to you in every situation and moment we find ourselves in !!! God is real. 💖🪄 I’m not saying this as a pastor or somewhat religious person. I’m saying this from what I have experienced before in my life. This is my story! 🌞

One hitter has long levers and tight hips; another is short, explosive, and hyper-mobile. Everyone moves differently. So why on earth are we buying into ONE rigid swing philosophy? Unless that philosophy is the one that allows you to get the only intended result that matters: CONSISTENT BARRELS. 🎯 The Bottom Line Stop trying to win the “Best Looking Swing” award on Instagram. These values aren't proposals to be voted on. They're treated as moral prerequisites that must be true *before* your vote counts. Despite what they say, they aren't for checks and balances. Checks and balances limit what government can do to you. This limits what you can do to *them*. The brakes are on accountability, not power. The institutions that set the boundaries of acceptable policy have put themselves beyond the reach of the electorate, and they call that arrangement "democracy." Trump has been an existential threat to this system since the moment he said "drain the swamp" ... because the swamp IS the system. This is only part of what happened to me and my experience. I do my activism work because I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I know what it's like to have you and your family put at risk. My own experiences have led me to believe there are serious problems with policing and the justice system that need to be addressed. The conviction arising from this incident was for criminal damage. I also have a separate matter due to be heard in the Crown Court in 2028. (4 years later) No family should have to live in fear. That's why I will continue to speak out and campaign for equal treatment under the law for everyone

The thing I help hitters with the most.. (1 good way to train it👇🏼) They start on time but never actually get loaded to GO. They think they’re ready. They’re not. So they start earlier next time. Same problem. —— This is a conversation I have with almost every hitter. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. That typically kills quickness. This works 95% of the time I’d say! —— > Send this to a hitter who needs it > Save it for when you need it.

The whole process of putting together the "I hate cowboys" record and the "go down singin'" record was a long two years of figuring out how do something I've never done before. All the songs were written on guitar and a depth I haven't really hit before. This is the final piece of that puzzle. "The fireside sessions" are both those albums together, all acoustic, featuring the songwriters from both those records. This time in my career ends with both album covers together with me and my dad standing next to each other. It's the first time I've ever been able to see a picture of us as two grown men. I'm moving on to another album early next year, but I hope y'all love these versions of the songs, as they were written. The bluebird last night was a special way to celebrate the ending of these last two years, and the start of something new👏🏼

Let’s be absolutely clear with the facts from today’s “march against the far right” which I attended from the start. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 1. These were left-wing organisations from all over the UK. Every union under the sun was in attendance. National Education Union are definitely indoctrinating children within the teacher and school environment, just look at their presence today. It is very concerning. Watch what they teach your kids. They, as an education union, along with Unite the union: join a union, were also fighting over who got to be at the front of the march today, thanks to two lesbian powerhouses not having it. Comedy gold 😂 2. The second video shows over 100 coaches being used to bus in all these so-called “concerned citizens” on organised transport. They are all part of a left-wing narrative which just doesn’t work anymore, we see exactly what they are doing. That was the entire left-wing loony left in attendance. That’s it. That’s them. This is a major point! We have millions who know what’s right, and the left wing in this country is about to get the shock of their lives in the next elections, swept off the map. That was a panic march. They know it’s coming! 3. There was no working class at this march! Fact! It was all middle and upper class people who attend the usual Palestine marches and Palestine Action events. They hate the Union Jack flag and they hate the working class. This was a stunt by the well-organised unions to pretend the country is behind them which it is not. And that was clear as day to witness today. Also a clear panic march. 4. We don’t have much to worry about. These people are not in the real world. They are privileged and wealthy. And as I said, that’s the crowd, that’s them.
