🚩🚩The NZ Govt has put up its NZ Trade and Export page to encourage NZ businesses to relocate to India. The main selling point ? - ‘ CHEAP LABOUR’. This deal will gut what is left of NZ’s manufacturing, and Luxon is all for it. As per the trade agreement with India NZ will facilitate $35 Billion of investment from NZ into India over 15 years. Thirty five billion. The expected exports we will earn over this time is a paltry $500 Million in extra exports a year. At the moment NZ exports a tiny $500m a year to India, National are saying this will grow to 1 billion. To put this into context, NZ exports $10 billion to Australia, and $9.5 billion to the U.S (where we endure tariffs & do not have a FTA). Is this sounding like a good deal? In the interview below Todd Mclay lets the cat out of the bag, admitting we could not get a deal on our dairy as dairy is the cornerstone of India’s unsophisticated economy so they will guard it zealously. Micro dairy farms throughout India are a key source of Income domestically for the masses of poor people. India wants to modernise this and commercialise it rapidly, which is why the FTA also stipulates NZ is to ‘share innovation (IP) and technology to modernise India’s dairy sector’ …. Do you really think they will ever let us sell dairy to India? I have a bridge for sale if you do. The median income in India in 2026 is NZD $400 a month, $100 a week. wtf are they ever going to buy off us ? Fonterra could for example open a plant there and process our value added products’. NZ has been here before, exporting raw product to overseas and buying it back in as a finished product, think forestry. In the interview he also inadvertently admits the deal cannot be changed once signed. Mclay lets it slip that ‘India cannot change the deal once signed’ Which by deduction means neither can NZ. And it gets worse. Hipkins admits that India will more than likely enforce the $35 billion investment as India has set up an office to ensure it happens, but Hipkins is still happy to sign the deal anyway - ‘it’s up-to business’ he says regarding the risk. And then an all time shocker, Mclay tells Hoskings that other parties will come around or they’ll get punished by 100 Nz businesses, and by ‘350,000 Indian voters in NZ’. Which is probably why Labour supports it. National and Labour are fighting over the Indian vote. Here’s the deal, anytime in 15 years if India doesn’t feel like it’s sucking enough life out of NZ it can kill the deal, which you can guarantee the NZ govt will then drop to their knees to offer anything to India to keep it… like I don’t know, unlimited immigration. Luxon who literally got on his knees to pray to their god during negotiations never really understood Leverage did he? This is mental. NZTE site :

Black Christmas (1974) 🎄 This film is considered one of the most influential horror films ever made, often cited as the "mother" of the modern slasher genre. Despite a modest initial financial performance, it has achieved massive cultural impact and critical re-evaluation over the last 50 years. Produced on a budget of roughly $686,000, it was a major hit in its native Canada, becoming the third-highest-grossing Canadian film of its time. It initially struggled in the U.S. due to competition from The Godfather Part II, but eventually grossed over $4 million worldwide, cementing its status as a financial success. Upon release, critics largely dismissed it as "senseless mayhem" or "trash". However, modern reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with a 71% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and rankings on numerous "Best Horror Movie" lists by outlets like IndieWire and Esquire. Cultural Impact and Innovation The film pioneered several tropes that defined the 1980s slasher boom: The "Final Girl": Jess Bradford (Olivia Hussey) is recognized as one of the first "final girls" in horror. Unlike later iterations, she was sexually active and had full agency, challenging the "virginal survivor" trope. It introduced the Killer's POV tracking shots, the concept of a killer stalking a group of young women, and the "calls are coming from inside the house" plot device later famously used in “When a Stranger Calls”. Influence on “Halloween”: Director Bob Clark’s discussions with John Carpenter about a hypothetical Black Christmas sequel (involving a killer escaping a psychiatric ward on Halloween) directly inspired Carpenter's 1978 classic. Released just one year after Roe v. Wade, the film is praised for its progressive treatment of reproductive rights, as Jess remains steadfast in her decision to have an abortion despite pressure from her boyfriend. Fun Fact Director Bob Clark later directed the 1983 holiday classic “A Christmas Story”. While the two films are tonally opposites, they both remain essential viewing for the Christmas season.

🚨 S&P JUST RAN OUT OF FUEL S&P 500 just broke above 7,500 Everyone's euphoric That's exactly problem Because two biggest IPOs in history are about to hit market - back to back OpenAI filed confidentially on May 22. Targeting a listing as early as September. Valuation north of $1 TRILLION Anthropic filed June 1. Targeting October on Nasdaq. Raising more than $60 BILLION Goldman. JPMorgan. Morgan Stanley. The gates are already open Here's what market isn't pricing in IPOs don't create money. They MOVE it Every dollar that buys OpenAI and Anthropic shares is a dollar pulled out of something else - Stocks. - Funds - Same index sitting at its all-time high Translation: whole market, forced to reach into same pocket on same morning - to fund two biggest deals ever written That's not a rally. That's a drain We've seen this movie. Late 2021 - the biggest listings of cycle priced right at top. Then whole thing rolled over in 2022 The top isn't a price. It's moment everyone's too greedy to sell So connect the dots Record index. Record IPO supply. Record euphoria. At exact same time My target: back toward 4,500. A ~40% reset from peak This isn't caution. This is setup Ask yourself one question. Why do they suddenly want YOU buying at top? Because somebody needs people to sell to You're early - or you're exit. There's no third option I called 2025 $BTC ATH and drop to $60k. Next call matters more Turn on notifs - I'll post warning before it hits headlines

Despite the UFC’s financial success, ZERO MMA fighters made Sportico’s 2024 Top 100 Highest-Paid Athletes list, while six boxers did: 3: Tyson Fury - $147M 7: Oleksandr Usyk - $122M 20: Canelo Alvarez - $73M 30: Anthony Joshua - $60M 52: Jake Paul - $48M 81: Naoya Inoue $42M (All fought twice in 2024, except Jake Paul, who fought three times.) Every UFC post-fight press conference begins with Dana White boasting about broken gate record, arena records, and others. Dana often compares the UFC to the NFL, NBA, and soccer, and they certainly have grown exponentially, but this is where the UFC truly differs. So, how is Alex Pereira not on the list after his massively impressive 2024? As one of the UFC’s biggest stars, Light Heavyweight Champion Pereira fought three times in 2024, including short-notice fights, saving and headlining some of the year’s biggest events, like UFC 300—yet he didn’t make the list. Meanwhile, NFL quarterback Daniel Jones landed the 100th spot, earning $37.5 million in salary and endorsements. It’s not breaking news that UFC/MMA fighters don’t earn as well as athletes in other sports, but it’s always interesting to see these annual lists considering the UFC had yet another record-breaking year financially in 2024. UFC 306 at The Sphere alone set multiple records, including the highest gate in UFC history at $21,829,245, surpassing UFC 205. Next week, TKO Group will release its full 2024 financial results, but in August 2024 they had raised their revenue forecast to $2.745 billion up from the previous estimate of $2.685 billion, with an expected EBITDA of $1.22 billion - $1.24 billion. The UFC is exceeding revenue expectations, reinforcing their financial and market dominance which definitely benefits TKO’s investors and stakeholders, but does it truly trickle down to the fighters? It’s a pivotal time for the UFC and the fighters as the UFC is in line for a new broadcast deal that will likely be worth over $1 billion per year. Ariel Helwani and his team were asked about the 2024 Top 100 Highest-Paid Athletes list and it is definitely worth a listen. Full top 100:
