Chat: But like, actual physical attraction to men? “Guys, I’ve already said this thirty— a hundred— three hundred billion times. I think that even straight people, for example… I mean, even a gay man can see a beautiful girl and say, ‘Oh my God, she’s gorgeous, I’m about to turn straight, I’m turning straight any minute now.’ That reaction is normal. When someone is beautiful, they’re beautiful. But then in the end, you go out with them once, twice, and you start to feel sick to your stomach because you’re like, ‘What am I even doing here?’ You feel fake because you’re not feeling any emotions. And honestly, I just can’t — I really can’t. I think it’s a pheromone thing. I don’t know, I just can’t do it, that’s the point. I even had a little boyfriend just to test this, because society kind of pushed me toward it, like, ‘Okay, let’s try,’ because of social norms. So I said, ‘Alright, fine, let’s try.’ But even though he was objectively perfect, I realized something was wrong. So I told him, ‘Listen, I think I like women.’ I had never kissed a woman, never touched a woman, nothing. And still I said, ‘That’s it, I’m coming out.’ Without ever having kissed or touched a woman. And I was right — my instinct was right! Guys, I really think it’s a pheromone thing. If you smell a man versus a woman — I mean natural scent, skin — it’s completely different. Even when you touch them… I just don’t like it. What can I do? I don’t like it! Could I change my mind one day? I strongly doubt it. But no. It’s probably my own business anyway, obviously. But for now, no. I really doubt it, guys. I think it’s a pheromone thing. I think… I don’t know. You get what I mean? Do you understand me?”

Bangladesh deserves serious statecraft. Instead, it has got a headline-chasing interim figure who treats India as a prop. The Soros-lackey chameleon called Md Yunus. Muhammad Yunus Even in his last speech as Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh, another gratuitous sermon on India, the headline-chasing head sprinkled his televised address with the familiar “sovereignty/dignity” theatrics and a sly reference to India’s North East and Seven Sisters of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura - without calling them part of India. Relevance, for him, must be manufactured abroad and when you can’t govern, you grandstand. When you can’t stabilise your own country, you try to manufacture an external villain - preferably the neighbour that actually functions. Let’s get the hierarchy straight. Yunus wasn’t elected. He didn’t build legitimacy through the ballot. He instigated a volatile interim perch and has since presided over a Bangladesh that looks increasingly unmoored. Yet the man speaks as if he is Bangladesh’s permanent conscience. The irony is almost comic. All he will be remembered for is a hubris that is beyond redemption whose ideological shape-shifting is the tell. One day he behaves like a global icon; the next he is the local strongman-in-waiting, feeding the same old insinuations for applause. That is what happens when your politics is held together by networks and patronage, not mandate and performance.

Since I like Fousey I will give him some serious game. 1) Have more than 3 girls on every stream and just start ignoring the one that isn’t throwing pussy your way. She will instinctively compete with the others and start chasing the prize (you) - They are only horny when they are losing and NEVER when they are getting favours out of you. 2) Take more risks with your flirting, If they already spend heaps of time talking to you about anything and are not afraid of you, you can get more aggressive in all area’s. Basically all you want to see after you say you want to “bust inside her” is if she will laugh and milk the fantasy for a moment. 3) Remind her what her life is like without you by asking her, “what do you even do all day?” Women are always bored, even when they are not, so she does not want to be reminded of her life without you in this moment. 4) Fousey is in the position to say, “Since we not fucking you paying for your own meal.” This becomes extremely important when she sees you pay for another womans meal, (this is why you should have brought more girls) friendzone the shit out of them ONLY when you have another that is flirting, mildly friendzone her if you got nobody / so you can still recover. 5) Never have female friends that are not used to holding your hand for various activities, such as driving… Without touch, you are sinking fast. Get all women, whether cute or ugly to be touchy with you for the perfect smoke screen. If Fousey was holding her hand, she would have cooked more. 6) STOP talking about anything that is NOT sexual, you are killing her pusy temperature. Stick to only teasing and avoiding big topics. 7) Never go on a date with a woman who knows Zherka😂 - More at Get activated💰

#MYMODISTORY I still remember my birthday on September 29, 2013. It was a day I had planned quietly, as I usually do. Over the years, I had made it a habit to call a few close people for their blessings. Narendra Modi ji was always on that list. By then, he had already become a national figure, and I thought I would stop calling him after 2014 when he became Prime Minister. But in 2013, I picked up the phone and called him. I said, “I know you do not like celebrating your birthdays, but I do, and I am calling to seek your blessings.” To my surprise, he smiled and said something humorous. He said, “What was the hurry for you to be born on 29th September? Can’t you wait for two more days so the whole world could celebrate it?” I laughed immediately. He went on to explain that if I had been born on October 2, my birthday would be celebrated along with Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri ji. Even though Narendra Modi ji never celebrates his own birthday publicly, he took the time to make my birthday unforgettable. His words were simple, yet they left a lasting impression. That small, humorous comment reflected his thoughtfulness, his ability to connect personally, and his unique way of turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. Moments like this show why Narendra Modi ji is so significant. Not because of grand gestures, but because of the warmth, humor, and care he brings into people’s lives. That birthday memory is something I will always cherish.

🇺🇦 "UKRAINE EXPOSED ITS OWN CORRUPTION AND MOVED IMMEDIATELY TO ACT" Corruption stories usually explode and disappear, but this one hit Ukraine at the worst possible moment: in the middle of a war and right before winter. Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S., Olga Stefanishyna, says the fallout was immediate and painful: resignations, public anger, and tough decisions inside Zelensky’s inner circle. She stresses that Ukraine itself exposed the scandal and responded quickly, even when it meant losing people who had been by Zelensky’s side since day one of the invasion. For her, this isn’t a political drama, it’s about keeping the country functioning while missiles are still falling and winter is closing in. She makes it clear that Zelensky wasn’t involved, that no one has been legally convicted, and that the government must now tighten control over every sector because Ukraine can’t afford another distraction. "This investigation was conducted by a Ukrainian institution created by our parliament and government, and they exposed the information themselves. Zelensky not only reacted publicly, he requested the retirement of officials who were accused and demanded court hearings and convictions. Accepting the resignation of his chief of office was personally difficult for him, but he made that decision because of public pressure. This scandal caused a lot of discussion in society and it's absolutely unfair it happened right before winter when people are already suffering."

This is UNBELIEVABLE! 😡 RANT INCOMING 👇 The RCMP stands up in a press conference and calls the 18-year-old shooter who just slaughtered 8 innocent people—including his own mom, 11-year-old stepbrother, 5 kids (ages 12-13), and a teacher—in Tumbler Ridge, BC, a “woman.” This dude, Jesse Van Rootselaar, was born male and only started “transitioning” 6 years ago—but yeah, let’s pretend biology doesn’t exist. He had a history of severe mental health issues, self-harm, and multiple police visits under the Mental Health Act. 5 Guns were even seized from the home before… and returned. But NO, this AIN’T a gun problem, Canada—we’ve got some of the strictest laws on the planet, and it still happened. This is a DELUSION PROBLEM, straight up causing a mental health CRISIS! How the hell are we supposed to fix this when we can’t even acknowledge BASIC FACTS? Albert Einstein nailed it: “A problem cannot be solved at the same level of thinking that created it.” READ THAT AGAIN! We’re not even in the same stratosphere if we’re gaslighting the public by calling a male killer a “woman” just to avoid backlash. And don’t get me started on the correlation—look at the facts: Recent mass shootings like Nashville (2023, trans shooter killed 6), 11 Club Q (2022, nonbinary shooter killed 5), 25 and others show a pattern emerging among young trans-identifying individuals, even if fact-checkers say it’s rare (less than 0.1% of total mass shootings since 2013) But with trans identification skyrocketing—up over 400% in youth in recent years due to social media and “affirmation” culture—why are we shocked when delusions lead to disaster? Trans people are 4x more likely to be victims of violence themselves, but ignoring untreated mental health in this community is DANGEROUS for EVERYONE. This cop has ZERO BALLS to stand there and spit objective truth! Society’s breaking down because we’re terrified of “offending” instead of facing reality. Truth MATTERS—when it crumbles, so does everything else. If we don’t start calling a spade a spade, this will ONLY GET WORSE. WAKE THE F*CK UP, Canada! Who’s with me? 🔥 #TumblerRidgeShooting #MentalHealthCrisis #TransDelusion #WakeUpCanada #TruthOverFeelings

I’ve been able to walk again! For those who didn’t know, for the past 6-8 months, I basically couldn’t walk bc of a freak accident I had at the beach while catching crabs with my kids. And when I say I couldn’t walk, I mean I literally couldn’t walk. I spent most of my days lying on the floor staring at the ceiling or crawling around my house. Going to the bathroom was basically impossible. I had to pee in bottles while lying down. I ate on the floor. I couldn’t cook for my kids. I couldn’t leave the house. I couldn’t even walk outside to my own balcony to get sun. I was basically trapped on the second floor of my home. I couldn’t go upstairs to sleep with my kids. I couldn’t go downstairs to leave the house. I couldn’t drop them off at school. I couldn’t play basketball with them. I couldn’t run around with them, ride bikes with them, take them places, or do any of the simple things I had done a thousand times without ever thinking twice about them. It was really bad… mentally and physically. I still remember one moment so clearly. I was looking out the window from the second floor, watching my kids ride their bikes outside. I just sat there in tears thinking to myself… Wow. I can’t even leave my house to be out there with them. That broke me. I kept asking, “Why me? Why did this happen to me?” Now I think I understand. God humbled me. I was moving too fast through life. Always doing more. Always chasing the next goal. Always working. And I was sacrificing my body and my health for what? I already had EVERYTHING I had ever dreamed of. I had the $ money. I had the freedom. I had the family. I had the life I worked so hard to build. But suddenly, none of it mattered bc I couldn’t even get off the floor. Feeling that at 37 years old was one of the most demoralizing things I’ve ever experienced as a man and as a father. Not being able to race with your kids. Not being able to play basketball with them. Not being able to drive them to school. Not being able to chase them around the house, take them on adventures, pick them up when they fall, carry them when they’re tired, or simply be the active dad you always thought you would be. There’s nothing worse than wanting to be there for your family physically and realizing your body won’t let you. So now, I take my health seriously. I don’t skip days anymore. Even if it’s something small, I do something every day to make my body stronger and healthier. Bc I finally understand what people mean when they say: There is no wealth without health. You can have millions of $ dollars. You can own the house, the cars, the stocks, the businesses, and everything else you ever dreamed about. But if you can’t get off the floor to hug your kids, play with them, travel with your family, or simply walk outside and feel the sun on your face… What’s is the point? $ money means very little when your health is gone. For all of my life, I worked so hard to become financially free. Now I’m working just as hard to become physically strong. And now, here I am at a beautiful natural hot spring with my family. There are two walking paths side by side. One hot. One cold. Both filled with natural stones under your bare feet. I walk back and forth between them, slowly stepping over the stones and alternating between the hot and cold water. The uneven stones challenge my feet and balance, while the temperature change wakes up my body and make every step feel alive. And the whole time I’m walking, I can’t stop thinking about how crazy life is. Six months ago, I was lying on the floor of my home wondering when I would be able to walk again. Today, I’m walking barefoot over natural stones, through hot and cold water, surrounded by nature with my family. Something I probably wouldn’t have even appreciated before. Now, every step means something. Every step reminds me of what I almost lost. It took losing my health to finally understand what being wealthy truly means.

My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I speak to you today with a heart weighed down by grief, yet burning with a call to love, compassion, and truth. Before us is a brother, one of us who stood helpless on a dark day when evil showed its cruel face. He begged, not for riches, not for power, but for mercy… mercy for his family. Imagine it, dear saints. Imagine standing there, powerless, as your loved ones cry out. Imagine hearing the voices of your wife, your children, your relatives screaming, pleading, calling on God, while you can do nothing but weep and pray. Imagine watching the people you love most beg for their lives, only to watch those voices fade… one after another… until silence falls. A silence so loud it pierces the soul. This brother watched his family breathe their last breath before his eyes after the Fulani herdsmen attack. He survived, not because he was stronger, but because God still had a testimony to tell through him. His heart now carries wounds no medicine can fully heal. The Bible says: “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:17–18) Beloved, this is not just a story, it is a living pain among us. This brother is the Good Samaritan’s wounded man lying by the roadside of our generation. Jesus asked a question that still echoes today: Who will stop? Who will care? “When one part of the body suffers, every part suffers with it.” (1 Corinthians 12:26) If one Christian bleeds, we all bleed. If one family is destroyed, the Church must not be silent. The blood of the innocent cries out, just as Abel’s blood cried from the ground. “The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.” (Genesis 4:10) This brother’s life is now a living cry, crying for comfort, crying for justice, crying for love. Jesus Himself warned us that the world would be cruel, but He also commanded us to be His hands and feet. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4) How will that comfort come, dear brethren? It comes when the Church rises. It comes when we pray, when we give, when we stand with those who can no longer stand on their own. True Christianity is not only spoken from the pulpit; it is lived in compassion. “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress.” (James 1:27) This brother is now surrounded by memories of screams, fear, and loss. Trauma has become his daily companion. Yet the Word of God gives us hope: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) Beloved, let us be the morning God sends into his night. Let us not harden our hearts when we hear such cries. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) Today, I plead with you, not as a man, but as a brother in Christ. Open your hearts. Pray for him. Stand with him. Support him. Let the love of Christ flow through us, so that even in the ashes of tragedy, hope can still rise. May the God of all comfort strengthen this brother. May the Lord heal his broken heart, restore what was stolen by violence, and remind him that though his family is gone, he is not alone. “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14) May God awaken His Church to love in action, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. 🙏

On the 6th day of recruiting myths: Myth #6: “Colleges don’t recruit from high school programs.” It’s true. I’ve never seen a D1 coach at a high school game. Maybe 1-2 make it out to the big well known pre-season tournaments, but in most states, HS ball is in the middle of their own season. So this myth is mostly true if you’re in the D1 or bust mentality. Almost all of us start with that goal, but there are a million things that have to go just right to make that happen. There are plenty of players with enough talent to play D1 that don’t start there. I know this because I played with some amazing ones. They ended up going the JUCO route for one reason or another, killed it as All-Americans, and are now playing at a higher level. I had local JUCO coaches at our HS games all the time. I actually saw them more often in high school than I did at the club tournaments I played in. Even if you think you’re destined for D1, it’s important not to discount it. What happens if you’re injured your sophomore or junior year, or you developed a little too late for D1 programs who have filled their class? What happens if your freshman grades sunk your GPA? What if the programs that offer you don’t have enough athletic aid to make the finances work for your family? To say all recruiting happens in club is more like saying I’m only interested in one path to my goal. And… if you kill it in high school season and get some recognition it can be enough to catch the attention of D1 programs. I had a good friend that nailed it her junior year. She had not received any offers going into May, but her HS season was incredible. She made zero errors all season! Her bat was 🔥 and she ended up getting selected as the Conference Offensive Player of the Year across the state of Arizona. She posted the award on X and immediately she had a D1 coach follow her. That coach eventually came to watch her play in club and have her out for a visit. The award didn’t get her an offer and neither did the high school play directly, but it built enough credibility to get some interest. And for people outside the “recruiting bubble”, these seemingly little things can be the tipping point. She’s a freshman this year playing D1 softball. So… if you’re thinking High School sports don’t provide recruiting opportunities, you’re thinking too narrowly. The opportunity looks different, but it’s still an opportunity to increase your odds of playing at the next level. #RecruitingRules Rule #2: Build your brand. Create your own luck - High school sports provided one of the best opportunities I had to build my brand. Local media coverage. State tournaments and awards. Those are things that don’t happen often in club. The coaches might not be at the field to watch during their own season, but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep building your brand to improve your opportunities later!

Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, just shortened your career timeline. His own engineers have stopped writing code. Amodei: “I have engineers within Anthropic who say I don’t write any code anymore. I just let the model write the code, I edit it, I do the things around it.” The people building the most advanced AI on Earth are already being replaced by what they built. Not in theory. Not in a forecast. Inside the building. Right now. Amodei: “I think we might be 6 to 12 months away from when the model is doing most, maybe all, of what SWEs do end-to-end.” Six to twelve months. Not from automating busywork. From replacing the full scope of what a software engineer does. Architecture. Logic. Debugging. Deployment. The entire chain. Software engineering is not some fading trade. It is the highest-paid, highest-demand, most protected skill the modern economy ever produced. And the man running a frontier lab just gave it a six-month shelf life. If the most technically sophisticated job in the economy falls first, nothing beneath it is safe. That is the inversion no one saw coming. The assumption was always that AI would eat from the bottom. Routine work. Data entry. Simple automation. It started at the top. Engineers first. Then analysts. Then strategists. Then the managers overseeing work that no longer needs them. The displacement doesn’t crawl upward. It cascades downward. Starting with the people closest to the technology itself. Amodei: “If I had to guess, I would guess that this goes faster than people imagine, and that that key element of code, and increasingly research, going faster than we imagine.” Not just code. Research. Hypotheses. Experiments. Interpretation. Discovery itself. If AI closes that loop, it doesn’t just write software. It improves itself. Every iteration compresses the timeline further. Amodei: “It’s very hard for me to see how it could take longer than a few years.” He is not selling optimism. He is setting a ceiling. A few years. Maximum. For AI to absorb the two most important intellectual functions in the economy. The window to position yourself is not a decade. It is already closing.

I’m just coming online and I saw that a lot of drama has ensued. Some of us go offline to touch grass once in a while. Of course, we have a life outside social media, we don’t depend on Twitter alone. Anyways, let’s start with the video in the first frame. Disclaimer: A long read ahead. This is the Abike that was crying profusely like a baby and showing deep appreciation to Toyin Abraham at the premiere of Malaika, a movie she played lead character. She consistently thanked TA for considering her for the role and that it was a ‘dream come through’ for her. She even went as far as saying ‘I’ve never experienced this kind of BIG DEAL before’. It is that same movie you’re conveniently downplaying today and people are saying you were underpaid compared to how much you got paid to promote another movie. You were an ‘upcoming actor’ in 2023 who was merely a TikTok influencer and TA decided to give you an opportunity to explore more in the movie industry, has she done bad for extending such grace to you? Abike, that same movie put you in the spotlight and gave you more fame than you already had. You can’t deny that! Moving on, in the second frame, you made a proper unboxing video for FA’s movie and posted it on your platforms, knowing fully well that you were featured in another Cinema movie at the time. (Heard you even recommended it on your IG story lmao). That unboxing video was an indirect PR for ATCJ which sort of had an impact on TA’s movie, seeing as your brand has some TikTok influence. That’s how social media works. But some people said it was just an ‘unboxing video’, no big deal. Okay. I know we all want to be the judge and jury badly, but let’s also try to see things from different perspectives/angles. Now imagine you’re working for Access Bank and still advertising for First Bank, as how nau? Or you’re signed as a brand ambassador/influencer for Nike and you’re simultaneously promoting Adidas or Puma, please make it make sense? You mentioned TA’s fans have been bullying you ever since, but your fans on TikTok were also trolling her and even some of your friends insulted her in comment sections. If people ask you what exactly happened, you will say you‘re not ready to share your side of the story. But you were steady throwing subtle shades at her. If no be see finish, wetin wan cause that one? Idc about anything that has transpired, that’s between you two but girl, this woman freaking gave you her platform on a platter! Not once, not twice, not thrice. The least you could do was accord her that simple respect. See how you’ve successfully made her the villain in your story now. Rubbing her name in the mud for cheap talks. It’s all good though. I’m glad you’ve finally said what you had in mind all along. At least everybody will rest now. Enjoy the attention.🥂

Brothers, husbands, fathers... listen up. Imagine this: You worked 12-14 hour days, sacrificed your youth, your health, your dreams to build a life for your family. You paid the bills, the EMIs, the kids' school fees. You stayed loyal. You loved her. Then one day, she decides the marriage is 'over.' She walks out. Files for divorce. And the court orders YOU to pay her alimony. Month after month. Year after year. Your hard-earned money. Now here's the gut punch: What if that money is funding her new lifestyle? Hotels with her boyfriend. Weekend getaways. Shopping sprees. Parties. While you're left broke, depressed, fighting suicidal thoughts, struggling to even afford a decent meal or see your own kids? Should the courts grant EVEN ONE RUPEE if she's using it to enjoy with her BF in 5-star hotels? Even the Supreme Court is now calling this out. In a recent hearing before Justice Pardiwala’s bench, a wife demanded ₹5 crore alimony after a marriage that lasted just one year. The husband offered a reasonable ₹35-40 lakh. The court was shocked. Justice Pardiwala warned: “If such is going to be the stance of the wife, we may have to pass some orders which she may not like.” He told the husband’s lawyer, “You will be making a blunder by calling her back. You won’t be able to keep her. Her dreams are very big.” This isn’t support. This is legalized extortion. Alimony was created for a different era – when women had no education, no jobs, no independence. Today? Women are CEOs, earning as much or more. Dual-income homes are normal. Yet family courts still treat men like ATM machines with no expiry date. Real stories are everywhere. Men losing everything – houses, savings, dignity. Forced to pay lifelong alimony even after she remarries or lives with someone else. Courts rarely monitor how the money is spent. No accountability. She posts luxury vacations on Instagram while you're dodging creditors. Why should a man pay if: - She's capable of working but chooses not to? - She's in a new relationship, enjoying life on your dime? - The divorce was her choice, her adultery, her abandonment? - Kids are with you, or grown up? This isn’t equality. In an equal world, alimony should be gender-neutral, time-bound (maybe 1-2 years max for rehabilitation), and STRICTLY for basic needs — not lifestyle maintenance. Receipts mandatory. New partner? Automatic stop. Misuse? Repayment and consequences. Men are dying inside. Suicide rates among divorced men are sky-high. Families destroyed. Children alienated. Society pays the price with broken homes. We need ALIMONY REFORM NOW: - Temporary and needs-based only. - Factor in her income, assets, new relationships. - Equal rights for men too. - No lifelong payments in short marriages. - Audit the spending. End the free ride. If you're a man facing this, know you're not alone. Share your story. Fight back legally. Join men's rights groups. Warn your brothers and sons before marriage — prenups, financial transparency, red flags. To the lawmakers and judges: Stop punishing men for existing. Marriage shouldn’t be a financial trap. True justice is gender-neutral. Protect families, not one side. Tag a man who needs to hear this. Share if you’ve seen the pain. Comment your thoughts — should courts fund her hotel romance with YOUR money? Even the Supreme Court said enough in the 5 crore case. This system must change. For our sons. For justice. For humanity. #MensRights #AlimonyReform #DivorceIsScam #FamilyCourtBias #StopMisuse #JusticePardiwala #SCAlimony

JOONGDUNK PRAEW PODCAST #DearMyselfxJoongDunk the first photo : “from the day that kid had to survive on his own” —— 🌞be called the last one i took with my dad before his father passed away. at that time i never expected it would happen. during COVID i was in China to compete in a survival show having decided to leave and sacrifice everything i had in Thailand to go there. but the pandemic hit the show couldn’t be filmed and i was left with only about 50,000B in my account — everything i had. when i returned to Thailand i felt completely lost not knowing what job to do or where to go. acting singing — everything seemed uncertain and nothing could move forward because of COVID. not long after that my dad passed away. it’s been about 6 years since then 🌞the reason i chose this photo is because it truly was a turning point in my life. everything felt like it had exploded — like i was completely cornered with no way out. so i had to struggle, do everything i could just to survive. and it wasn’t only me who had to survive but my whole family too. i still have my mom, three younger sisters and brothers who are in Turkey. that’s why i had to do everything to make sure my people could survive. it felt like every door in my life had completely shut every single one. so i had no choice but to search for new doors. luckily during COVID, many new doors eventually opened for me. honestly, in the days when those doors hadn’t opened yet, did i ever think this might not be the right path? no! not at all. i just felt that this was the path i was good at — and also the one i loved. i had already experienced what it felt like to be here and i truly liked it. i got to do so many things — dancing, acting, going to international fan meetings. it made me feel like… once you keep getting on stage, you start craving it. you crave the stage, the screams from the crowd, singing together with fans. it’s a completely different feeling. hearing their voices—it’s indescribable. back then, what I wanted was simply… i don’t even know exactly what it was but i wanted to see myself on stage, singing, with people singing along with me. And i realized i truly loved that feeling. that’s why i knew this was my path. 🌞because when i was younger, i used to love singing in the bathroom. and. my father… was the only person in the house who would knock on the bathroom door and say “stop singing everyone else in the neighborhood can hear you already” 🌞this was back when i was living at Eason Blue. basically the bathrooms in that house were connected. it was like a family apartment: upstairs was one relative’s place, downstairs was another, and our home was in the middle. so everyone could hear everything. my dad was worried that my voice would disturb the neighbors, so even in the bathroom or in my own room i wasn’t really allowed to sing. instead, i would go sing at school. simply put, my dad didn’t really support me much when it came to singing. he just didn’t see what this kid could become, or where singing could take me. and honestly, back then, i couldn’t see it myself either—i never imagined that one day i’d get to sing this much : nd now that you’re about to have a fan concert, where you can fully perform and sing… your dad must finally get to see it somewhere right? 🌞but in the end he didn’t get to see it. Maybe he’s listening from above

Before My Friend Took His Life, He Mailed Me a Letter Blame Covid, isolation, or economics, but many men my age are struggling with how life has turned out By Charlie LeDuff (Charlie LeDuff) My friend took his life last week. He wasn’t the first friend to do that over this past year. He wasn’t even the second. A lot of guys my age are struggling with the idea of suicide. It’s reached a level of crisis in America, the scientific papers say. Brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic and its aftermath. The scientific papers cite factors like isolation and economic hardship. That’s just a fancy way of saying life hasn’t worked out for some guys of my generation. Not the way we were trained to imagine our older selves when we were boys, anyway. My friend’s name was Mickey. Mickey’s letter arrived at my home a few days after he ended it all. He wanted to explain things. He wanted to apologize. “I’m sorry,” the letter began. “I will be discovered in the garage, behind my car, in the recycle bin, for ease of removal.” That really struck me. Mickey—always the urbane and cultured man—had literally thrown himself away. “For ease of removal.” In the letter, Mickey detailed how he had exhausted his savings and was unable to find meaningful work after being dismissed from his job during the pandemic. Mickey had worked for three decades in international trade and logistics. Now, having reached the upper limits of middle-age, the phone wasn’t ringing anymore. He was broke. And the credit companies were squeezing him. “Combined with a significant loss of confidence and hope, I’ve given up,” he wrote. “This is not the position I expected to be in at this point in my life, and it is simply too much to continue.” Mickey left just enough for the cremation. He was 61. Mickey had no wife, no children, no live-in lover that I know of. But he had friends and family who loved him. Depression can make you blind, I suppose. And why didn’t we see Mickey’s depression? The grind of the day-to-day difficulties dulls the senses, I suppose. So Mickey spent his last hours, alone, addressing envelopes and scratching out his own obituary. Imagine that. Writing your own obituary. I suppose this is my attempt at his epitaph. Mickey was a decent and honest man. If the meaning of life is to be found in one another, then without you, life will have less meaning for those you leave behind. The world is a poorer place without Mickey in it. But I’m a richer man for having known him. If you feel at the end of your rope, friend; or if you’re considering a rope or a rubbish bin, please call. That’s all. Just start with a call.
