#EastEnders Devastating scenes upstairs in the Vic where Alfie makes the heartbraking discovery about Zoe's death as he breaks the news to his family about the shocking news whilst attempting to hold everything together. 💔😢 A true acting masterclass from Shane Richie in this scene. The transition from Alfie's bright and cheerful self to the sheer disbelief and pure shock of Zoe's death is absolutely harrowing 💔😢 - the moment Alfie started putting 2 and 2 together and then the defening silence before the crippling scream as Kat attempts to keep a lid on her emotions 💔😢. The exact moment Alfie realised that Zoe has died took me back to Nana Moons death - absolutely devastating! 💔 Alfie rallying his family together as he attempts to keep a lid on his emotions as he breaks the gut punching news to his family about Zoe's death - the Slaters stunned into silence but immidialy awash with grief and pure shock as they attempt to take in the news about Zoe. The short sharp denial from Jasmine before discovering Zoe's body was earth shattering 💔💔😢😢. The poor girl has been through a lifetime of trauma within the space of a year and my heart absolutely broke for her in that moment. That scream from Jasmine was equally as harrowing as Alfie's one. 😱 The most upsetting part of this scene for me though was Tommy putting on a united front for Zoe. The way he helped Kat at the end of the scene - almost like a beacon of light or the anchor propping her up at her darkest time was heartbreaking. 💔😢 Tommy is only 15 years old yet he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders but still manages to find the right moment to support his mum whilst she is so consumed with grief. Shane and Jessie were brilliant here but a moment of appreciation also for Sonny Kendell and Lillia Turner who were also sensational. The way Jessie Wallace can just sit in silence and deliver truly exceptional - the thought of losing a child is completely devastating made worse by the fact Zoe was Kat's first born and her only daughter. She spent 20 years trying to track her down only to find her and now she's dead after a year it's so heartbreaking 💔💔😢😢 I'm not ready to watch the rest of this week's scenes for the Slater/Moons it's going to be such a thought provoking and powerful watch 💔😢 Well done to everyone involved in this scene - the portrayal of grief from everyone involved was so authentic and real - from rolling emotion, anger, denial and pure shock. Sonny Shane and Jessie were the paticuler stand outs in this truly devastating scene. 💔😢
