Here are the facts, over the last 6 months: (September - February) Total employed went from 21.039M to 20.783K = 255.8K job loss. Private Sector went from 13.748M to 13.479M = 269.2k job loss. The confusion about whether former Eagles OC, Kevin Patullo, was fired or not isn't that confusing. They never used the word fired. In short, they care about him, value what he has done for the organization, and are allowing him to weigh his options and decide if he wants to come back in a different role. Philadelphia, & their entire front office, are a class org. They value people, respect them, and treat them right. They also know what he has meant to their 2 Super Bowls runs, despite not working out at OC. The players who praised him all season and after the wild-card loss do so with sincerity. It is not lip service or professionalism. They genuinely respect him. Almost every player was asked about him after their loss, nobody wavered in their praise for him. Nick has explained what they are doing, and the players have expressed their role in the season's struggles. Below is from right after the game.
