Police have barricaded the entire front on the building and are guarding the entrance. The patio and restaurant are inaccessible from this block, the noise will likely keep potential customers away. The sidewalk and part of the street are encumbered. Shortly after this, the crowd escalated from being a mischievous nuisance to violence. Scarlett Grace was physically attacked and more than one person tried to steal her property.

I’m 100% in support of adults pursuing whatever gender they please, by whatever means they like. More power to you! However, we will look back at this time, when doctors and “professionals” pressured parents to perform surgery and give hormones to *children*, with great shame and regret. The detransition stories are just starting, and they are devastating. These stories always include the parents and children being bullied into making irreversible decisions. They make decisions they don’t fully understand but are told will solve a complex problem. However, in most cases, this “problem” is solved best with love, compassion, counseling, and time. Adolescence is challenging 100% of the time, as we all have experienced. Imagine your darkest and most confusing moment as a teenager. Now, imagine a group of authorities telling you that your gender confusion causes all your pain and that you can solve all of that pain with surgery and hormones. Now imagine the state of California acting to hide this child’s struggle from their parents — and then pursuing a gender transition covertly with the child. That is the crime that is happening right now. We don’t let kids smoke vapes or drink until they are fully informed of the ramifications of those decisions as adults — yet we put them on puberty blockers and have them do surgery to change their gender as teenagers? What is the rush? There isn’t one, so they tell the parents, “Your child will kill themselves if they don’t transition.” This is pure evil. There are no parents who agree with this, there are only bullied and confused parents… and that needs to end now. I say this with unlimited compassion and love for any child or family dealing with gender dysphoria. Please speak up parents.

Sense of Urgency In Season vs Off Season During the offseason in development, coaches can be a lot more patient with players as they continue to grow in different areas. In Season however, at high school and above, it’s winning time. There is much more of a sense of urgency for players to produce in games. The season is usually a rollercoaster and parents/players need to understand that playing time and minutes may fluctuate based on team needs (especially if you’re not the top 2 or 3 players on a teams.

EXPOSED: Hamilton Wentworth District School Board, Believes there’s 18 genders. Including other. So much so, they’ve surveyed kids to figure out which one they are. Parents are fed up. They complain to me, how they’re exploring homeschooling because of the constant sexuality presented to children. Yet, there’s no survey, asking parents how they feel about the education at the school board! Parents tell me they don’t like that there’s no time management skills being taught, no homework, and that the board is instead focused on sexuality, and adjusting resources based on answers to surveys with a laundry list of options for genders that most kids don’t even know exist. This has gotten out of control. This isn’t isolated to the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board. This is happening throughout Canada. To the point where parents are now either exploring home schooling options, private schools or Christian schools. They pay taxes for their local schools and are fundamentally being “taxed” again by seeking alternative education, that they now have to pay with their after tax dollars. Families pay into a system they hate, and do not trust, and then paying again, to opt-out. This madness needs to stop.

The higher your parents’ income, the less likely you are to match it — and that’s not surprising for several reasons. There is regression to the mean: across generations some movement up or down is normal. Earning a great deal of money is also difficult; the more wealth you’re born into, the harder it is to match or exceed it because the baseline you must surpass is already very high. One common definition of the American dream is doing better than your parents, but if your parents were already well off, meeting that standard becomes much more demanding. I half-jokingly tweeted recently: if you were born to parents in the 97th percentile and now live at the 80th, that’s apparently a grave injustice — and therefore, according to the joke, we should burn society to the ground.

Nikki Haley starts out with decent points, that I think many parents on the left and right agree could be a problem. 1) If you have an individual with male genitalia changing in a female school locker room, it's certainly fair for parents to get upset about it. 2) If you have a trans women playing women sports in high school, it is also fair for parents to feel it may be unfair. (Note that you could fit every single trans athlete in America, high school and college, on a Boeing Jet and still have plenty of empty seats. It's not the massive problem people claim.) But... Haley claiming that trans women are causing young women to commit suicide, without any data to back up her claim, is pathetic and disgusting. I think most of us agree that there are issues when it comes to the intermingling of different people in certain settings, especially when nudity is involved. I also think that there are solutions for it all if we'd just listen instead of yell, create a dialogue instead of a diatribe and stop painting everyone who disagrees as being extreme. Thoughts?

An engineer at Anthropic wrote a spec, pointed Claude at an Asana board, and went home. Claude broke the spec into tickets, spawned agents for each one, and they started building independently. When the agent is confused it runs git-blame and messages the right engineers in Slack. By Monday the agents finished the plugin feature. That's one example of how the best engineers are shipping software right now. Developers will soon orchestrate 50 AI agents in parallel and the difference between a good engineer & a great one would come down to specs.
