DEVELOPING — A medical clinic in Portland, OR released security camera footage from Jan 8 that appears to show a vehicle driven by an illegal immigrant ramming a U.S. Border Patrol vehicle before both the driver and his passenger were shot. Both survived and were later arrested.

DPS Troopers arrested a confirmed Gulf Cartel member in Starr Co. this week as part of a joint operation under Operation Lone Star with the United States Border Patrol. On Tuesday, Troopers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in Rio Grande City. The driver refused to stop, and a high-speed vehicle pursuit began. Eventually, the driver and three illegal immigrants exited the vehicle and went into a home.
