@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur Good interview

@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur 💯% correct, Sir! That was a stellar interview, even more stellar are your policies to put Guyana first. Build your country!

@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur Excellency, Your resources are your right. The western media are propogandists. They are crying foul because their country didn't get the oil exploration rights.

@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur 👍🏾from Bharath 🇮🇳

@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur Kudos to the brave president.

Guyana's President Irfaan Ali was speaking in an interview with BBC journalist Stephen Sackur, who had questioned the President on Guyana's carbon emission rates as it planned to extract oil and gas along its coast. Guyana President Irfan Ali's attack on "Western hypocrisy" on Carbon emissions has gone viral. This is perfect example for media training modules. Demonstrating how to maintain composure, stick to the facts, & avoid being intimidated, particularly when dealing with reporters from outlets like the BBC News Clear & simple messaging, Authentic & well researched data points, Prepared for Difficult Questions & finally Body Language Matters. Additionally, it's curious to observe the tone adopted by the reporter, especially during interviews with presidents, where interruptions occur when the desired agenda isn't met.

@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur You're right about everything you said to this "colonial era" journalist. However, please be careful about corruption. Oil can be a blessing or a curse. You've so many examples of oil revenues mismanagement and misappropriation in the world.

@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur Thank you for this, Your Excellency.

@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur Great interview.. Do what's best for your country👍🏻

@BBCHARDtalk @stephensackur Thanks for making that pocket journalist uncomfortable.
