CNN actually argued the problem isn’t drug-running dictators or cocaine pipelines into the U.S...it’s that Trump violated the United Nations charter. CNN: “Regardless of whether he acted, whether President Trump acted in compliance with the constitution, he acted in violation of the United Nations charter.” “Treaties like the UN charter, the supreme law of the United States according to the constitution. That means the president needs to, is compelled to comply with international law when he’s acting abroad.” “He hasn’t done that. He hasn’t done that for months in carrying out these attacks, killing over 115 people in the Caribbean and the Pacific, blowing up a port through the CIA and other actions.” “The president wants countries to to commit to trade treaties with him, to other kinds of agreements, to peace deals in Gaza and so forth. And late today, Trump said on Truth Social: "We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great military efforts in the Middle East with respect to the terrorist regime of Iran." Meanwhile, Israel and the United States continued to attack Iran today, hitting the same kinds of targets they've struck throughout this campaign.
