He's Portuguese. They greet people like that all the time. Cultural respect is a two-way street. If the Iranians wanted him to visit their country, they ought to be willing to tolerate some of his cultural idiosyncracies (within reason, of course).

This Fake News about Ronaldo getting punished in Iran was debunked by Iranian Embassy in Spain @IraninSpain.

What a f*cked up world

Seems like a equitable punishment from a very diverse and inclusive group… Was the poor girl burned with acid or stoned to death for her crimes…

I guess the Iranian militants don’t want people from other countries visiting and showing the Iranian people what the outside world is like.

Iranian artist, Fateme Hamami who has 85 per cent paralysis of her body, has painted a magnificent portrait of superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo using only her feet, she has told that she would love Portugal and Juventus star forward Ronaldo to see her work & Ronaldo visited Iran to see her painting and hugged & kissed her head to say thank you for her gift to him ..

Getting punished for showing love is next level evil. 🙄

The middle east is off the chart crazy with these laws and beliefs

A prisoner at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, who was presenting himself as a marine engineer in the US on Facebook, has defrauded a lady from Kumasi, who worked as a househelp in Dubai, out of over GHS 30,000 and has attempted to blackma!l her with her nàked v!deos. According to the lady, she was working as a househelp in Dubai when she met a man named Sadat on Facebook, who claimed to be a marine engineer working at sea in the US. Over time, they developed a relationship through phone and video calls. Sadat introduced her to a woman he said was his mother in Ghana, and they discussed marriage. Eventually, Sadat and the woman convinced her to leave her job in Dubai and travel to Ghana for the traditional marriage. Sadat claimed he was shipping a container with wedding items, but when it arrived, she was told she had to pay GHS 30,000 at the port to clear the goods. She managed to pay half of the amount. Later, a man claiming to be the driver delivering the container said it had been intercepted by Customs officers, and she borrowed more money to cover an additional GHS 15,000. However, the container was never delivered, and upon realizing it was a scam, she collapsed.

🇫🇷🔴 "it seems he is looking for prey." Serial groper, Tunisian migrant Nidhal O., sexually assaulted 3 different women in the Paris Metro — all on camera. He was arrested in December 2023 and was finally sentenced to 11 years in prison on Sept. 26. The footage only covers 3 incidents, but the sexual predator was convicted of 6 sexual different assaults and one attempted rape, which occurred over the course of different days. During the trial, one woman said Nidhal O. "tried to take off his pants while pressing his hand to his mouth to stifle my screams." On Dec. 8, 2023, Nidhal O. followed 27-year-old Chloé to her building. He rushed behind her, slammed her apartment door and pushed her on to her bed. "You’re going to be here for me, I’m going to have a relationship with you," he told her. However, the woman's screams were heard throughout the building. A neighbor rushed in and said in court: "I heard screams, it was unbearable. I saw a shirtless man, I understood that I had to intervene." Three men detained the Tunisian until police rushed in and arrested the suspect. Nidhal O. had already been deported from Spain and Belgium before ending up in France. He was a known threat for past offenses across Europe. He explained his actions, saying, "There is a devil in my head and he is the one who spoke and guided my hands." However, court psychiatrists said he had no psychiatric condition that would preclude him from standing trial.
