Imagine inviting a tiny Chinese spy to live in your house. 😂😂🤣

Can we just get some of them to actually perform useful work instead of Karate and dancing around?

Oh boy... Sarah Conner would be worried. I dont know if I would want the "cheaper" version. Just saying...

But is that all it can do? Can it mow my lawn, bring me a drink, tell me a riddle… What’s the point of having a ‘dancing robot’. Gimmicky at best unless it can vacuum a rug & wash a car.

Sarah Connor right now:

WTF is that little thing going to do for you? Entertain you with its dance moves?

Live-action Mega Man

Bumi probably can record everything without your approval. Remember ''My Friend Cayla'', the Chinese-manufactured interactive doll that was found to be a spy doll from its potential to eavesdrop on conversations and transmit data to unauthorized parties?

Doesn't have working hands. A novelty that dances.

I can't believe people think this is cool

I don't need my robot dancing or doing kung-fu. Take out the trash, clean the toilet, do the dishes, shovel the walk, change the diaper, bleed the brakes.. give me a robot that does all those and I will throw money at it.

@grok What tasks can the Bumi robot actually perform?

@grok How does Bumi compare to robots like Tesla Optimus or Unitree H1?

Some of the things Bumi can do. Is it really worth the price tag? Key abilities and functions •Mobility: As a bipedal robot, Bumi can walk and perform fluid, balanced movements like dancing, a key feature demonstrated during its release. •Voice interaction: The robot is equipped with voice recognition, enabling it to respond to spoken commands and interact with users. •Educational programming: It is designed for students, hobbyists, and educators and features an open programming interface. This includes a simple drag-and-drop graphical interface, allowing beginners to create custom routines and lessons. •Object recognition: Bumi has built-in vision, allowing it to perceive and understand its surroundings. •Companionship: With its voice interaction and programming potential, Bumi is marketed as a personal companion for home use. Technical specifications •Dimensions: It is 94 cm (3.1 feet) tall and weighs 12 kg (26.5 pounds), making it suitable for home environments. •Joints: The robot has 21 degrees of freedom (DoF), which refers to its 21 separate joints or axes of motion. This provides it with articulated movement in its limbs, head, and torso. •Battery: It runs on a 48V battery and has a runtime of one to two hours per charge. •Materials: Bumi's lightweight construction uses composite materials, which is a key factor in its affordability.

Do not let the schemes of the wicked prevail. Stand firm and fight back as a warrior of the Lord, for light must not yield to darkness, nor truth to deception.

It only can dance? 🤣

Oh the 🪁 pedo goblins are going to love this...

Can I fuck it?

Guess I know what I’m buying soon @DoomPackdraw @RawDogg209 get this on @PackDraw

It's amazing what you can do when you have slave labor.

Walking data collector

Its chinese- probably has a kill switch & a master control. Id stay away from such items. I still have no Alexa, no dot, no nothing. I still flip my light switches with my finger.

It has no hands

I can watch "emotes" when my grandson plays fortnight, what does it actually do except be entertaining? $1400 is out of range of my budget's entertainment category

You can't fuck it or fight it so what's the point? No but seriously how far from Detroit become human are we?

Chinese=cheaply made

Alexa and Siri and we’ll phones in general already listen in and Taylor advertising accordingly, donwevrealkyvwnt these things walking around our houses?

A CCP robot sold to consumers, what could go wrong?

Yes, let’s all put a little spy in our homes

I can replicate those movements for free. Honestly, what’s the point of that gadget? If it actually cooked, cleaned, or painted my house while I’m grinding away at two or three jobs, maybe then it would be worth it. But as it stands, it’s just another frivolous expense.

I would demo it by showing it doing something more useful other than bad dancing.
