Hey guys! Today is my birthday 🎉 To celebrate, I decided to drop a little before/after comparison from one of the projects I worked on. This was a small animated sequence for a feature-length film and the main challenge was achieving very realistic, hand-drawn textures in every single frame. I think it turned out pretty great, literally every frame here is unique and made purely by human hands. No shortcuts, just love, patience and a lot of pixels🤙🏻✨

We all smoke our way, for now I have mastered the art of the glass tip cone style. It’s not a specialty roll by any means, but it’s consistent for me. I don’t have the fine hand coordination nor the patience to fuck up a hand roll when I can do this pretty easily and it smokes as proper as a good hand roll. When I have more time away from serving, I’ll practice hand rolling but this is how I smoke.

Yet another scene that would make #AI bros cry… This one was entirely hand drawn with key frames and main in-betweens done by me. It was my first episode as a director and I wanted to show what could be done with the show in terms of dynamic action. This episode paved the way for all of the #FairlyOddParents movies and established that we COULD, in fact, have big action sequences. It also established me as the “action guy for comedy shows.”

While most of you scrambled to your nearest newsstand to obtain a copy, mine was hand delivered to me by someone that knew I had ombs. I wore a jacket I made with my omb on it, I sure as shit didn’t remember what they wore to pick it out of a NYT ad. That’s what it means to be iconic Fuck the NYT, the art speaks for itself , you really wanna be fine art on Bitcoin? Negate crypto traditional methods ie discord/ communities/ utilities- no one truly interested in fine art gives a single fuck about the other collectors of their favorite artist- unless they want to acquire their pieces. No real collector wants to be color coded in a chat room based on speculative actions. Quit playing collector online. Focus on the art. Focus on TT. Everything else is kindling.

Her elephant she's had since she was four. The bear from her first Christmas. Every single one. He arranged himself right in the middle of all of them and he hasn't moved. He's 10 years old. He's been her dog since she was seven. I have no words for what I am looking at. I have no words for any of today." My husband thinks Buddy was trying to bring her back. I think he was doing the only thing he knew how to do — gathering everything that smelled like her and bringing it to the place she always comes back to. He did it one by one. All evening. While we sat in a quiet house not knowing what to do with ourselves. He knew what to do. He's 10 years old. His muzzle is going gray. He carried every single one. Emma called tonight to say she's okay. I told her what Buddy did. She was quiet for a long time. Then she said — "Don't move them. Leave them right there. I'm coming home Friday." It stands apart within his practice as a work that leans more overtly into social commentary and anti-establishment sentiment, something that feels especially aligned with the spirit of the crypto art scene. Even so, it still carries many of the qualities that define his work. Through repetition, scale, and aviation imagery, Pease transforms language into spectacle and unease, creating a piece that feels both distinct within his oeuvre and deeply connected to it. I am looking to place this work in a long-term collection with someone who not only appreciates Joe’s practice but also understands the importance of stewarding a piece like this with care.

About 6 days ago, I did a redraw of one of Dima Kashtalyan’s artworks, but for this contest, I wanted to create something inspired by the original while adding my own style and creativity to it. I loathe sounding like a boomer. But. When I was a kid, Home Depot was run entirely by guys who could make a dovetail joint with a pocket knife. Hobby lobby was staffed by grammas who could make a quilt by hand out of old t shirts (not a metaphor - I own one). Yesterday, we visited Home Depot and were greeted only by people who speak so little English they didn’t know what a respirator was. Not a single one of them have built anything in their life. The fabric desk at hobby lobby had a lady in a hijab who also didn’t speak English and couldn’t tell us the difference between two fabrics. Tried enjoying a quiet day at the lake today. Thankfully, I got to experience full cultural enrichment while enjoying my peaceful day out (sound on). I miss the country I knew.
