In general, I really enjoy awards season every year, but this year, knowing that Jennifer Lawrence could have been there and didn’t make it, I feel like I hate it all and don’t want to watch absolutely anything related to the Oscars and all this s*hit. It’s the first year of my life that I don’t plan on watching any ceremony. This is my little strike for leaving this queen out.

Weekend Storm Update Despite what you might have heard… I am STILL tracking the potential for a significant snow event this weekend. If it happens, the snow would arrive Sunday afternoon/evening. Model Guidance has been all over the place but I’ve been fairly consistent with my message: This looks like a Miller B Nor’Easter. Miller B storms typically have a mix line that sets up along I-78/I-80 in eastern PA and NJ. The European Model suggests that mix changes over to heavy snow as this storm strengthens. Whether or not that actually happens is pure speculation at this point. There are some non-linear processes that need to go exactly correct for this storm to produce significant snow. If not, the storm could miss off to the south. So nothing is set in stone yet, but the threat remains. ~Meteorologist Mark Margavage #wxtwitter #wxX #PAwx

WOW! This is the view from the The George Washington bridge running from Manhattan, New York to New Jersey. - This is all stemming from Central Canada, where wildfires are burning in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec. - In total there are 211 reported wildfires burning in these two provinces, with 145 of them considered "out of control". - These fires started because of unseasonable hot and dry conditions, and have already forced 10,000 residents to evacuate their homes in Quebec. I think what this shows us is how fragile and interconnected the entire world really is environmentally. An event that takes place in another country can have major impacts and implications on our own. We are all in this thing together. Let's get along and work together to figure things out. The environment is a great place to start.

I know this is all over X but it’s fascinating. From #MeghanMarkle’s hand on the back of Harry’s neck forcing his head down to his obvious disinterest in kissing her-he’s far more interested in what’s in his bowl-there’s a lack of warmth between the 2 and a disconnect. Well am not surprised, before I travelled with Gyan to US , armed police’s men stormed my house with one guy who is claiming that small part of my land i have built on since 2014 which my family is residing in at east airport belongs to him so one officer called Malaika of Ghana Police Service Suveillance Unit has deployed his men who pointed GUNS at me in front of my HOUSE after I parked my car , asked me “ what am I doing in front of my house “ ?? The case is reported at Regional Police Commander BUT MALAIKA & his MEN are still PROTECTING the “ SO CALLED “ New owner and his land guard to develop on my land as we speak in my absence !! I don’t know what the Ghana Police Service became Land Guards for land grabbers !! I HAVE SINCE REPORTED IT TO CID COMMISSIONER and Malaika Boss DCOP Teye . Am told my opponent is still developing the land in my absence as the police is yet to come out with the final investigation to advise the two parties . Imagine me Sammy Anim receiving this treatment, what about those vulnerable in Society and especially those in the diaspora, no wonder there are a lot of land guard activities in Accra !

Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours: calm before the storm. Following yesterday's escort, there was nothing today. Traffic visibly dropped. The US gave Iran 24 hours to make a public statement about how the Strait of Hormuz is open, and there will be no further attacks on commercial vessels. But as you have all seen from my daily updates, the Oman lane was always going to be contested, so this is not new. The fact that the US issued another ultimatum just means escalation is inevitable. This comes after President Trump said that the ceasefire is no longer in place. Regardless, inbound tankers have been nonexistent for the last 5 days. This will force Gulf producers to shut-in production again. This is an all-or-nothing conflict. Let's see how this weekend unfolds. I have included the video from MarineTraffic and my table for inbound tankers below.
