🔥🚨DEVELOPING: This elderly man found one of his old newspapers from 1972 that said a Black pastor walked on water in Mississippi and was shot because of it.

Rev. W.L. Jenkins, a Mississippi minister who publicly advertised that he would walk across the surface of the Ross Barnett Reservoir (the large man-made lake east of Jackson). He canceled the demonstration after he was shot in the leg while driving to the reservoir. He later said he still intended to attempt the walk at some point but never did.
