He's lucky to be alive, so no. This man is being more of a father to this kid than he has ever known.

If his punishment was just the embarrassment of this video than so be it. Cause that’s all we’re talking about. He had to go home smelly and wet and explain why. Probably a better deterrent than cops/jail/cashless bail.

What’s too far is breaking into houses that aren’t yours.

The way i see it, he’s still alive and breathing correct? We’ll that’s a lesson we’ll learned . Better than taking his life

Compared to some of the other videos of thief justice. This gentleman was let off very lightly.

NO the punishment is deserved, this kid will never steal again in his life FOR SURE.

I guarantee you that this thief will never do it again, not at this man’s house anyway!

Honestly, if we brought back flogging, crime would probably drop to record lows. I'm not going to condone any of this, but I can understand it.
