A man who identified himself as the assistant driver claims the man behind the wheel fell asleep and lost control of the bus. “The driver was sleeping, and a police officer woke him up. He told the driver to go to Musina to register and take the fingerprints of the passengers. When the driver started the bus, he was already exhausted and failed to control the bus.”

Polish police have arrested a taxi passenger who attacked a Ukrainian Uber driver over national animosity. The incident happened on September 8 in Gdansk. The taxi was hailed by two tipsy men. After the driver told one of the passengers that he was not allowed to get into the car with an open bottle of beer, he began to insult him, including about his nationality. The Ukrainian student, who works part-time as a taxi driver, tried to ignore the insults of the drunk passenger. When they were halfway there, the passenger attacked the driver for no reason, punching him in the face. The taxi driver used pepper spray against the offenders. The police found the hooligans quickly. They face criminal charges.

But we had never thought that this could happen to our vehicle. We used to hear of things like this in Kashmir but this area was safe. We never thought that this could happen to us. As soon as the bus left in the morning, we received a call at 5 o'clock that there had been firing on our vehicle...When we did a little investigation, we came to know that it was an attack by militants...Passengers told us that the militant got into the bus and told the driver to make the passengers deboard the bus. Driver sensed that the man was a militant. He refused to make the passengers deboard, he sped up the bus. As soon as he sped up the bus, the militant fired a bullet.
