It is the season of #mangoes in #India. Even this Tusker could not resist the temptation of trying a few ripe mangoes, as captured last night in #Haridwar.

Well trained guides are the backbone of the Trek Tamil Nadu initiative. We just completed refresher training for 52 guides from 17 trails of Trek TN with skills in safety, ecology, and visitor engagement, to ensure safer treks, richer experiences, and stronger conservation. This promotes responsible trekking preserving our pristine landscapes. Trek TN currently operates 32 trails manned by 130 Guides from the local community, most of whom are tribals. #TrekTN #EcoTourism #SustainableTravel

A staff today rescued this timely, which was tangled in a net. Do you know what rare animal is this. Most have not seen I think.

Spotted deer & langur are bossom friends, both look out for each others back. Besides keeping eye on predators from tree top, langurs are casual foragers & so drop lots of fresh twigs for deer to eat. Deer have excellent sense of smell. @ntca_india @DudhwaTR @rameshpandeyifs
