What a lot of shit. The US Army and marines have often stated the British SAS has the toughest soldiers.

I traveled military bases for 8 years in iraq and Afghanistan. 2 weeks a base. The only good sleep I got was on marine bases. Every other base got bomed about 3-4 times a week . If the marines ever got attacked they would litterally destroy everything within a 10 mile radious.

Meanwhile somewhere far up the chain of command at the quartermasters office for all the services, a freshly minted 2nd Lt was going over the request for ammo and supplies for the military units and used his yellow marker to highlight the ammo requested for the Marine units. He took it to his Lt and asked about the discrepancy, thinking that maybe he found an incident of ammo being stolen. The Lt looked up at the junior officer and said "Oh that's just how the Marines operate son, they dont just shoot, they hose down the area with bullets so that NO ONE will care to mess with them again." When he went back to his desk he also saw the data for how they had worn out a lot of weapons and requested new replacements.
