In this current configuration, yes. There will be an add-on later to allow you to transfer the heater in a hvac system to heat you house in winter.

Yes, if the footprint of the new miners doesn’t change much and fits in the enclosure. The control software cannot handle a miner upgrade for now, but eventually it will.
