I made a deliberate decision to stay away from the church. My local town has 8 churches and only 1 primary school. I will buy a book for a child every Sunday than give a tithe to the pastor.

If only Africa could replace every church with either a school or hospital. I stopped being religious when i learnt that such mindset made me wait for miracles instead of getting out there and grab what i needed. Africa is still lagging behind due to religion nothing else.

Churches have never stopped development from happening. Catholic churches have built mission schools and hospitals before. He has diagnosed the problem of underdevelopment correctly. But yiu cannot blame the Churches for that. We have corruption, bad governance, tribalism etc.

The amount of money we contribute in every church in a year can build n equip a dispensary. There's nothing to show for this money. It benefits a few individuals in the church.
