DEVO (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction SNL 1978 (Sorry it’s crooked, I can’t find another version)

Great little documentary of em on Netflix rn.

Woah, thanks for letting me know. Now I know what I’m watching this weekend 😎👊

Saw them last year and they rocked it especially for being 75 years old

Brilliant…their body movements make it art

Ik tbey did not do the original but Devo does its so right!

Best use of a song in a movie. Casino

Craziest pit I was ever in was Devo 1990 Ventura Theatre. I'd give details but its a family platform!🤣

I had the satisfaction (wahey!) of seeing DEVO in June. They still put on an incredible show.

Being that it is DEVO it makes sense that it’s crooked!

Watched this live!

An early clue as to their brilliance. And that Jagger thought it was good should be enough.

Devo can handle being crooked. Best version ever

the late 1970's and into the mid 1980's were an incredible time in music...

Came home stoned from a party and caught both songs, and it changed the way I looked at music.

does the crooked angularity leave you . . . UNSATISFIED??

Might be the greatest cover ever!

Punk

Saw them at the Bottom Line the Wednesday before that Saturday Guess they were working out the kinks Tremendous show in a tiny place

One of the best covers ever recorded. I love covers that completely fuck with the original.

When I first heard this I couldn't figure out if this was sacrilege or genius, I finally settled on the latter.

DEVO- underrated! ❤️‍🔥🤘🏻

Crooked works!

WOOT I see them on Halloween with the B52s

Brilliant. Pioneers who got scalped.

⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Absolute one-of-a-kind legends. Put them in the RnR HOF!

😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

4th row orchestra pit Santa Monica Civic in '80, Bob lead guitar on top of an amp stack rocking back and forth over my head is impossible to forget..✌️

Watched it live (or whatever - when it aired west coast) My buddy and I stayed up late. He had an older brother who said stay up for this.

I remember watching this video as a 6th grade kid in, what....1981? Wtf was I watching 😭😭

There will only ever be One DEVO 👍🏽💙😊💥🎵

🎧

I saw the original broadcast. It was shown this way at a 45 degree angle.

Word.

Classic Devo, doesn't get much better than that!
