Thick beyond repair, he probably took a flight from UK to Prague, that same flight can be tracked using an app, looking at the app you can track flights from all over the world, if the earth is flat then it will have an edge, how does a plane fly from Japan to USA ?

You do realize that most of the stars we see at night are orbiting the same galactic center of the Milky Way as Earth, right? Even without parallax, their position relative to the sun (and Earth) doesn’t really change

Even modern astronomy assumes the Earth is fixed and the sky is the one that moves, but is for a more simple way of calculating astronomic navigation and give astronomic data. But we KNOW that is the Earth turning. Your model cannot explain the sky in the south.
