Good Products are Opinionated. “Every great founder I’ve seen up close, or even from afar, is highly opinionated and they’re almost dictatorial in how they run things. Also, early-stage teams are opinionated. And the products they build are opinionated. Opinionated means they have a strong vision for what it should and should not do. If you don’t have a strong vision of what it should and should not do, then you end up with a giant mess of competing features. jack Dorsey has a great phrase: “Limit the number of details and make every detail perfect.” And that’s especially important in consumer products. You have to be extremely opinionated. All the best products in consumer-land get there through simplicity. You could argue the recent success of ChatGPT and similar AI chatbots is because they’re even simpler than Google. Google looked like the simplest product you could possibly build. It was just a box. But even that box had limitations in what you could do. You were trained not to talk to it conversationally. You would enter keywords and you had to be careful with those keywords. You couldn’t just ask a question outright and get a sensible answer. It wouldn’t do proper synonym matching, and then it would spit you back a whole bunch of results. That was complicated. You’d have to sift through and figure out which ones were ads, which ones were real, were they sorted correctly, and then you’d have to click through and read it. ChatGPT and the chatbot simplified that even further. You just talk to it like a human—use your voice or you type and it gives you back a straight answer. It might not always be right, but it’s good enough, and it gives you back a straight answer in text or voice or images or whatever you prefer. So it simplifies what we looked at as the simplest product on the Internet, which was formerly Google, and makes it even simpler. And you just cannot make a product that’s simple enough. To be simple, you have to be extremely opinionated. You have to remove everything that doesn’t match your opinion of what the product should be doing. You have to meticulously remove every single click, every single extra button, every single setting. In fact, things in the settings menu are an indication that you’ve abdicated your responsibility to the user. Choices for the user are an abdication of your responsibility. Maybe for legal or important reasons, you can have a few of these, but you should struggle and resist against every single choice the user has to make. In the age of TikTok and ChatGPT, that’s more obvious than ever. People don’t want to make choices. They don’t want the cognitive load. They want you to figure out what the right defaults are and what they should be doing and looking at, and they want you to present it to them.”

The man who turned $100 into $100 billion just said the Fed is lying to you. The Federal Reserve has one sacred rule, every single year, they allow prices to rise 2%. They have run the entire global economy on this principle since 2012 and Buffett called it a compounding disaster. His exact words: "Once you start saying you're going to tolerate 2%, that compounds pretty dramatically over time." Buffett made the math brutally simple. If you are earning less than 2% on your money, you are not breaking even. You are going backwards every single day. Most Americans with a basic savings account are earning nowhere near 2%. The Fed calls this price stability while Buffett calls it a policy that punishes anyone responsible enough to save. Buffet wants a 0% inflation target which means prices stay flat and money holds its value but no major central bank on earth currently operates that way. The 2% rule was never born from science or rigorous research. It started in New Zealand in the 1980s, spread as a convenient benchmark, and eventually became untouchable global doctrine never seriously challenged, never put to a public vote. Meanwhile the Fed is not even holding their own floor. US inflation is running above target right now, with projections pointing higher through the rest of 2026. The bar they set keeps moving, and the people paying the price are the ones who saved. Buffett has been warning about this for decades but this time he went further. He said the banking system carries risks most people do not see, that fragility is hiding inside the financial structure, and that a currency the government permits to lose value every year is the foundation underneath all of it.

YUNJIN’s speech for LE SSERAFIM winning “Best Song Award” at the 2026 Seoul Music Awards & her story of “SPAGHETTI” 🤍 “Yes, winning the "Best Song Award" sounds like a testament to just how much love we have received, so we feel incredibly honored and grateful and we wonder if we truly deserve it. Our group is known for telling our own autobiographical stories. I never imagined that the idea I envisioned would turn into the track "Spaghetti" and receive so much love from all of you. "Spaghetti" is a song born from how fun I found the irony that there's a very fine line between love and hate and how you keep thinking about something even when you dislike it. Using that concept, the song uses the metaphor of food stuck between your teeth. It might actually be a slightly challenging concept for some people, so we are deeply grateful that you enjoyed it with us so much and the reason this award is so precious is because of all this immense love. But at the same time, it makes me think that, putting any "proof or testament" aside, there are so many amazing songs in this world and every single song is so precious and carries immense value. I hope none of us ever forget these two truths. I also believe there are so many incredibly cool groups in K-pop, and standing here today made me realize once again how truly wonderful it is that everyone brings their own unique stories to the table every single time. We will also continue to make our own uniquely cool music and share sincere, authentic stories, so please look upon us kindly. Also, to Chaewon unnie who is at home right now, we love you so so much and we will share this joy with you.”

Dark Souls is an allegory for depression and life as a whole. Giving up is the true death. but the game is also deeply Nietzschean. It offers neither external salvation nor moral certainty there are no guarantees of redemption simply a harsh world that just IS. Meaning is not imposed upon you, you must create it through endurance and perseverance. Suffering is not merely an impediment. Itt is an integral part of the process. Every death, every return to the bonfire, echoes the same struggle again and again, asking if you can keep going. To go Hollow is to give in to nothingness, to keep going is an act of will, a quiet claim of strength even when hope feels absent. Power does not come from being pure or destined, it comes from learning, from facing fear, from choosing life even when it is cruel and indifferent However, it is also chockfull of Christian iconography in a way that deliberately clashes with its Nietzschean core. The world is in a endless cycle of fire and rot, as if it is a fallen world beset with sin. Sacrifice is ubiquitous. Gods immolate themselves to extend the age of existence, martyrs are sacrificed so that others may live on, and you perpetuallly offer yourself in ways that are almost penances. Burning bonfires are resurrections, but they are not gifts they are earned through suffering. Even in a world as hard as this one, it is not all darkness. Summoning allies to aid you, leaving messages, and sharing stories through the echoes in the world are all reminders that you are not alone and others perservere and have hope just like you There is no strict political side here, its a lesson about a experience every single person on earth has or will experience at one point or another. Trying to put your own politics into the equation is not only disrespectful to the source material but also really fucking stupid

Just listened to Erika Kirk on with Sean Hannity, and wow. “We check in with each other every single day, ‘How can I serve you better? What can I do for you to make it better when you get home? Is there anything that you need me to have ready for you?’ He asks me the same thing… You are a team and you guys are not at ends with each other. Work together, communicate, and grow together as an equally yoked partnership.” “He genuinely cared about how he could improve himself as a husband… ‘I wanna serve you because I love you and I wanna make sure that I can be the provider that you need spiritually, emotionally, and every other way with the children.’ We never looked at each other as competing roles… There was no daylight between us.” “We were always in lockstep with the Lord. We were equally yoked when we got married and we remained that way because our full focus and our full through line was the Lord… We had a fire at the covenant when we got married. That was not something that was just, ‘Oh, this is so cute.’ This is a big deal.” “And yes, there is some pain in that is deep pain… but the love that Charlie and I had and still have is something that transcends this world and into heaven. And that’s why I still feel so connected to him.” She’s now carrying forward the last book Charlie poured his life into the same wisdom he lived every day at home: put your phone down, pour into your family, lead with faith, serve the people God gave you. Death tried to silence him. Instead it just handed Erika the megaphone. Their marriage is still speaking. Their covenant is still winning. And every couple who grabs that book and starts asking “How can I serve you better today?” is proof the story isn’t over. The best chapters are still being written.

One year. One whole year already. And yet, I still can’t believe it. I still have this strange feeling that none of this is real. It’s like I’m trapped in a nightmare I can’t wake up from. As if, at any moment, you’ll show up again — with your smile, your laugh, your voice that feels so familiar. But time keeps moving, and with every day that passes without you, this absence becomes a little more real. A little harder to bear. The truth is, it’s been a year since you left. And the world has felt a little quieter ever since. You know, Liam, there’s not a single day that goes by without us thinking of you. You left such a huge mark on our lives, on our hearts — far beyond the music. Because you weren’t just an incredible artist. You were a bright soul — genuine, kind, generous, always there for everyone else. You had that rare gift of understanding people, of comforting them, of giving strength even when you barely had any left for yourself. That’s what made you so special, Liam. You brought light just by being you. And that’s why everything about you is missed so deeply. Everything you left behind still lives on today. Your songs, your words, your smile, every memory you gave us. You’re everywhere — in our thoughts, in every melody, in every laugh we share when we remember you. We keep celebrating you, talking about you, keeping you alive through everything you built. I think a lot about your family — Your dad, your mum, your sisters, your son, your loved ones — those who knew and loved you long before the world did. Losing someone so suddenly is unimaginable. I can only imagine how hard it must still be, even after a year, to try and move forward without you. I’m sending them all my love, all my support. Because you were their son, their brother, their light. And I know your absence must still feel like an unfillable space. I also think about your friends, and about those who were more than that — the boys, your brothers. Because One Direction wasn’t just a band. It was a family. You grew up together, laughed, created, shared memories no one else will ever truly understand. Nothing will ever erase that bond. And I know they carry that pain too. And then there’s us. Us, the fans — the ones you made smile, dream, grow. We still remember your words, your laughter, your energy. We haven’t forgotten you, Liam. We never will. You live through us — through your music, your laughter, your heart. You are a part of us, and you always will be. I just hope that where you are now, you’re not hurting anymore. That you’ve finally found the peace you always deserved. So if I could talk to you today, I’d simply say: Thank you, Liam. Thank you for existing. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for being who you were. Thank you for everything you gave us. We miss you more than words can ever say. A little more every single day. But you still live on — through everything you were, everything you created, everything you left behind. You’ll always be there, somewhere — in every note, in every smile, in every heartbeat that still thinks of you. We’ll never forget you. Forever ✨🤍🕊️
