I had one experience as a teenager, and I don't tell many people because they think it's just psychedelics doing what they do. Well I am and was even back then an experienced psychonaut. This was different. I was staring at a dot on the sidewalk it was Baltimore City so I think it was just a speck of tar. I started hearing a sound, a whoomp, whoomp, whoomp, whoomp. It got faster and faster until it was like a pur, you know how you can't hear each individual combustion in an car engine. Then everything changed, I changed. I no longer was a physical form, I was part of a toros of light, but it seemed to be flowing in every direction at the same time. I felt as if I was connected to EVERYTHING and everyone. I was everywhere all at once. I felt this overwhelming sense of calm, of peace, like this was where I was supposed to be, and just like that I was back. It only lasted a few minutes but it has stuck with me since. I came away from that truly believing that we are all connected and we all originated in the same place. I also believe Heaven to be SO much more than we could possibly imagine.

Yeah closing my eyes for a while focusing on the inner light, zooming in through wispy white curves of light, then “down deeper” the zoom hit the “bottom” and there appeared very clear Hebrew or Chinese looking letters arranged in a grid. I still think about it and one day when I’m feeling relaxed I’ll be looking for it again. It was non hallucinatory, just closed eyes and focus.
