🚨DFINITY FOUNDER ALLEGES NEAR INTENTS STOLE PROPRIETARY CHAIN KEY TECH! DFINITY founder dom | icp claims a key component of NEAR Intents relies on proprietary DFINITY threshold ECDSA (Chain Key) cryptography, licensed only for the Internet Computer. This follows his post yesterday questioning NEAR’s Confidential Intents, which he said runs on a separate permissioned chain with no real cryptography behind the privacy claims. He points to a 2022 DFINITY paper, GitHub activity showing NEAR attempting an emergency downgrade after ~2.5 years, and the involvement of a former DFINITY employee fired in 2021. Williams says the system is not decentralized and flags legal implications.

Uniswap Founder Rejects V4 Fee Earnings Claims Uniswap (Uniswap) founder Hayden Adams (Hayden Adams 🦄) has dismissed claims that v4 protocol fees reduce liquidity provider earnings. He called the criticism "FUD and misunderstanding" following the activation of protocol fees. Adams said a 5 basis point protocol fee is additive, not deducted from existing LP fees. He also argued claims of a 25% cut in LP profits are based on incorrect assumptions. The comments followed governance approval for selected v4 pools across multiple blockchains. Adams urged users to avoid spreading misinformation about the fee model.

What Caffeine actually spits out when it builds you an app You describe the app in plain English. It writes the code, deploys it, and keeps updating it, with nobody touching the codebase. It writes Motoko, DFINITY Foundation's own language, and ships straight to canisters on $ICP. dom | icp's bet is that coders will ship straight on chain, growing the ecosystem.
