So many Americans have to be feeling this same way “Why is no one talking about how serious the cost of living actually is? — My husband is working three jobs right now. We buy absolutely nothing, nothing that we don't need, and we actually go without a lot of things that we actually do need. I feel like if you're able to do anything that's not just surviving, then you got it good. I feel so sad that I didn't appreciate the times where we were able to actually have fun at this point. So much has changed in the past few years. Like, what? I just really, really want to know. How's everyone surviving? Is everyone working, like, 24/7? Because that's what my husband does, and I'm just home with my little kids all the time. It's kind of, like, depressing that we're never together as a family. So I don't know. 🖨️ It took over a year and lots of help from Claude Code but I have now been able to create a real dot matrix printer on the web that prints from Windows 3.11 in your browser: Here's the test page: I couldn't get the LPT1 port to work but COM2 did work (the dial up model already uses COM1), the JS receives the COM2 serial data (just raw print data) and then prints it Next is to make the dot matrix printer better looking (kinda 3d like on pieter dot com) and have the paper also flowing in 3d out of the printer and integrate it on the page My idea was that it might work because we also capture the COM1 data (from the dial up modem) and send it to a Websocket as a dial up connection, so we should be able to capture the COM2 traffic too but I didn't know how, but now I do IT WORKS!! 😊

I didn't know anything except like shopping or playing games in the room. So just it just suddenly popped up and uh the a member of the team called V just proposed me like why don't we go to a museum and I was like a museum? I am not a museum guy and [laughter] isn't it just boring just just to go there and but we just went there uh because we got nothing to do and I saw the uh the paintings of Monae and Van Gone Sarah and of course I I knew the names of them because saw them uh and in the book when I was in school. So, but it was literally the first time to just have a like physically to have a chance to look at their actual um paintings. And um I think impressionism is is still the biggest uh the most widest open entrance for all of the outside people uh in the art in the art world. Yeah. So, Monet and G and S, they opened me the entrance and um as I got into it like further and further more and more, I just my taste um became a little bit more of a complex and uh complicated. Zack Snyder discusses virtual production technology with the Russo Bros. and explains why he chose to build practical sets for Rebel Moon: "The idea of this sort of virtual production that's really interesting is that it does come back around. The green screen environment is an exclusive world, right? "Like there's not a lot of guys that can make a movie with no sets. Because as it is now, there's a thousand visual effects artists between that green screen and it being in your movie. "In the virtual production version, anybody who walks in there with a camera... The desert is there. And they can go and film it. So in a lot of ways it's kind of... it demystifies visual effects a little bit. "The thing that I've always found a little off-putting about a big green screen environment is it's not really engaging for anybody. Even for us, even for the filmmakers. We've been looking at the concept, we know what it is. "And the actors especially are like, 'I don't know where the hell I am.' Like, 'I guess... Okay, whatever you guys say, I'll do it.'" Anthony Russo: "But for camera operators too, right? It's just like there's nothing to grab on to." Snyder: "Yeah, I don't know, tilt up to the mountain. What mountain?" Joe Russo: "No, no, it's a little higher." Snyder: "Yeah, exactly. I think it's a small mountain. "Anyway, but I do think that the introduction of this kind of virtual productions as a concept really brings sort of physicality back to visual effects. And sort of a fantastic world. "You really can, you know, you can feel it and see it. They can put Atmos in, it can really feel like you're in a place. Which is really just... You're more passionate about it, you know, filming it. "Like I did a small thing that we were just really more of an experiment. And I was really fascinated by like, you know, they're like, 'Okay, here's, we have a cave set with light shafts coming through these holes in the ceiling.' And then we were like, literally, you know, 'Okay, now we're in like this forest.' "And it was the same rocks, but suddenly they didn't look like- they worked in both spots. It was just, I was like, 'Wow, this is really...' And even the focus and everything, the wall understood the depth of field as well. "So like everything, like especially in the eyepiece was like, 'Wow, that's scary.' That's like, feels like I'm there. So I think there's huge potential and hugely exciting future for that technology. "You know, as it becomes more available to like, and also scale, I think, you know, from this to like also being able to have, you know, 100 guys standing around inside of, you know, a giant environment would be just, it's just cool. Which they're doing now anyway, everyone's doing it. "But what was funny, because like on the movie that we're working on now, we ended up, we took a deep dive into it. "So you could always be flipping and not tell... because the sets were all symmetrical. You could shoot them from both sides and it was kind of the same. But the audience couldn't tell because the backgrounds were not symmetrical. "So it was only the immediate stuff, you know. It was, so it was a bit of a brain teaser for everyone. And then in the end, we were like, because of the scale of the fighting, I was like, 'Oh, let's just...' "So now we're just building it up the road. "But it's cool. "It's fun to build a giant thing as well. Just to go there and like, 'Oh my God, we made a village.'

mingyu talking about their tiny desk concert video 🖤 🐶 i wasn't able to sleep until 5am earlier, i wanted to post the tiny desk video on my ig right away and i feel proud [of what we did] and i was really nervous as well. we were in washington dc for around 5 days and we rehearsed for that to prepare and then filmed, and it wasn't really easy. we really had nothing - there was no audio coming out from the mic and it was just my raw voice. we didn't have any in-ears, we weren't singing over a backing track either but with a live band so i was pretty nervous. so i was contemplating if i should do it or not but i kind of just went for it at the end. it was a good experience and i just went for it thinking, "when will we ever get to do this?" seeing us, seventeen, on npr is so fascinating in itself and i felt very proud of what we achieved that's why i liked it.

Even if you are not marching for peace, just be yourself, being a florist, being a merchant, being a talior, anything. That way you're contributing to the Peace Industry. People are just concentrating on fear, confusion and anger. And therefore just for a moment, I'd like us to think about Love. In a very magical, straight way, John and I met in London and from then on we stood for Peace and Love. And when I do this kind of event. Well it is... Matthew North - The Cambridge Analytica The exposure of Joe Rogan as a military operation has caught wind today and it reminded me of Matthew North and his research. This kid was extremely good at figuring things out. He was exposing everyone who was deep state, and he was eliminated because he was a threat. This video was created about The Cambridge Analytica who is a group who handles and sells data on us. His research is extremely good. I know a lot of you truly believe that Trump is some kind of savior. I did too, and still kind of do. I really do hope he is doing this for "optics" but I often have to stop and think about that. There is a lot of reason for me to believe that he is doing the right thing, but at this point unless he has already eliminated them, there is no reason anymore. He is being really clear and transparent as to what he is doing, what he wants to do and where he wants it to take us. I don't want to be right about that. I want to be wrong. His focus lately has been on endorsing cryptocurrencies as the future of our economy. That raises a lot of concerns. First of all, cryptocurrency was created for surveillance from the very start. Anything digital leaves easy to trace footprints. They have been talking about it being decentralized and that it is the road to freedom. That makes sense to me, after I learned what they were doing with the federal banking system and I saw that this was a way around it, I too got extremely excited and put a lot of money into crypto. It makes sense. It makes too much sense. It is a system we will not be able to get out of after we are in it. It is a cage with no way out from the inside. However, we don't have anything else going. I have been in these spaces and I see that people are indeed seeing the danger we are in, but we aren't actually making any movement in the physical world. It will be too late if we let this continue. We won't be able to get out or change anything. I am not sure what will happen, and I truly want to believe that "Israel is saved for last" was a good hint, not a bad one. We are being kept in the dark, and it is being done purposefully. I know that we are all collectively learning a lot about the world that the kept from us, but maybe we aren't seeing that it is herding us into the beast system? I often do post about that possibility, but there is always something that brings me back to believe Trump is a hero. After all, the templar started out good, but went bad after they had amassed wealth and power through banking activities. This was because they were infiltrated by the Jesuits, who were crypto-jews.
