One time, when I was in the thick of my abusive marriage I had a friend tell me “you have to learn to think like him in order to get out of this.” And all I kept saying was “BUT I AM NOT LIKE HIM.” Truly at the time, I could not figure out how to think two steps ahead, I was so lost in all of it. But THIS video is truly the definition of the advice my friend gave me all those years back. I hope all women in a similar situation can find the strength, courage and mental/intestinal fortitude to learn to think like “him” - in order to take her power back.
