Jamiat ulema e Islam Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Pakistan chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has urged the govt to resolve problems with #Afghanistan through negotiations and diplomacy. “There may also be disagreements regarding Afghanistan, but every issue can NOT be resolved through the use of force. Many issues can be addressed more effectively through negotiations and diplomacy,” the #JUI chief told a public meeting in Kasur, Punjab, Saturday night. He said #Pakistan faces various internal and external challenges. “There are issues concerning relations with neighbouring countries, trade, and diplomacy. My position is that these problems cannot be solved through confrontation, but through effective diplomacy, dialogue, and mutual respect,” the Maulana said. Talking about the situation in #Baluchistan and #Khyber #Pakhtunkhwa, he said it is not only Balochistan, but also the #Pashtun areas that are drenched in blood. “In just a few days, dozens of lives have been lost. People have had to go to markets to buy shrouds for their loved ones, and they have had to leave their homes to carry the coffins of their relatives,” the JUI chief told thousands. He said serious questions are raised about government authority and control in some areas.
