Diana Ross. Home The Wiz

Should’ve been Stephanie Mills 😡

🤔 Fun fact: Diana was so moved that she actually recorded the lead vocals while crying in the studio. The craziest part? Director Sidney Lumet used two giant industrial fans right in front of her on set to make her hair and dress vibrate, capturing that visual drama only an MTV Diva can pull off. Pure emotion! 🌬️😭 Did you know? 🤯

Always Touching, Outstanding!

💯 Yes, I agree.

I love how this song was included in the tv miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream. (1992)

What a performance!

i love how emotional she gets

Wow never seen her shine like this she truly is absolutely VERY beautiful 🥰🔥

This song always makes me emotional 🥹

Every once in a while a clip of the Wiz and Diana Ross pops up on the TL and I still remember how pissed off women are Stephanie Mills was pushed out by Diana Ross for the role. 2026 and you can still find people heated about it.
