I used Figma Make to build the most delightful link library and book cover configurator ever vibecoded. For the Contra x Figma Makeathon, I decided to build an app to turn my 47 open tabs into a beautiful book. Then I put it on a shelf for the whole internet to browse. It's called Stash For each collection, you have the opportunity to design the best cover ever using the in-app configurator. It has pencils, markers, stamps, graffiti... The entire thing is made in Figma, including stamps, illustrations, and graffiti artworks. I think this is my best public work so far and I hope it lets me leave a mark on the internet.

This woman is trying to save a squirrel stuck in a trap without it getting eaten by an alligator… Once she got the trap up, she realized the alligator couldn’t actually reach the squirrel, but the squirrel had no idea there was a way out and stayed frozen in fear. And honestly, I don’t blame it... but I'm not sure if the squirrel is more afraid of her or the alligator because she keeps trying to grab it's tail and screaming 😭 It was chaotic, a little scary, and kind of hilarious all at once. Would you have tried to help, or would you have noped out the second you saw the alligator?

I remember when the Head of the Sixth Form College that I attended in Leeds, England asked my what wanted to study at university. I replied it was always my dream to become a doctor. She laughed in my face & said that medical school is too competitive, I’ll never get in & to choose another course. She made me feel like I was a ‘dirty little immigrant with delusions of grandeur’. Being the sensitive soul that I am, her words hurts me. Her words hurt me a lot. But I refused to allow her to diminish my determination. Being an independent 18 year old student who was forced to leave my parents behind in Lebanon, I had to work 40 hours a week to survive. This was a constant threat to getting the necessary grades to secure a place in medical school. However, the suffering, struggling, sacrifices and hard work paid off. Not only did I get into medical school in Manchester, I later qualified as a doctor, became a Consultant NHS Psychiatrist, an Honorary Visiting Professor and book author. I’m in the Waterstones in Leeds to see a copy of my book for the first time. I’m sorry, I couldn’t hold back the emotions. Please NEVER stop believing in yourself & NEVER give up hope. My #threejs Lumen Decor Studio is getting an update. It will now support more settings and more complex scenes, thanks to the latest library updates. I'm combining #WebGPU SSGI with light probes, giving us the best of both worlds. Real-time light bounces via SSGI, and when the camera stops moving, I bake probes to measure the average light in the room, generating fill lights that paint an envmap. I also created a denoiser for SSGI, avoiding the previous blur that discarded the AO. Now, everything is lighter, a little noisier, but it complements indirect light well. Live link coming soon. Now I can say for sure that FSD v13.2.2 responds to both flashing lights and sirens of emergency vehicles. I had a similar experience a couple of days ago but I wasn’t 100% sure since there was another vehicle ahead of me. Tonight at this intersection, I noticed the traffic lights turned green and my CT didn’t move. Then I heard a brief siren sound from my left. I saw an ambulance approaching the intersection from the left and made a right turn. Once the ambulance was behind us as seen in the 2nd clip, my CT started to proceed. FSD is getting intelligent by the day.

She lives near an elementary school . Same woman parks there everyday blocking her driveway to pick up her children . The homeowner has asked her to please don’t do it . It seems the woman is now doing it on purpose . She actually leaves her car while getting the kids . How would you handle this situation? I believe it’s illegal to block anyone’s driveway . Not sure it changes in a school zone . ? It wouldn’t bother me if it was only once in a while, but apparently this lady is doing it every single day for long stretches of time.

Every time I connect with Sam (of “Samantha Brown’s Places to Love”), I’m reminded of how her love of travel is such an inspiration and how thankful I am that we both host shows on public television that inspire our fellow Americans to reach out and connect with our world and celebrate it in all its diversity, humanity, and wonder. When i was 14-years old, one of my Sheikhs sent his brother a book of more than 200-pages, and the book wasn’t available in Nigerian bookstores. He borrowed me and gave me the grace of a day to go through it, and i don’t have the financial buoyancy to photocopy it, i copied the book word to word within the space of a day and returned it” The moral of the story is simple, it highlights the sacrifices the previous generations made to acquire knowledge, especially in their time when digital technology wasn’t fully commercialized and globalized. The patchy routes these people endured to attain the level of their intellectual capacity are unbelievably difficult. Our generation has everything on a platter, yet, we struggle to tap knowledge at our doorsteps. The availability of “Maktabatus Shamila”— an online library containing an initial amount of 5300 books on Islaamic sciences has really helped greatly in getting books without breaking a sweat. We are a lucky yet a lazy generation.

When I was 8 or 9 years old, I had one teacher who noticed that I really liked history. We didn’t study history at all at the time: this only started in the fourth grade. So my teacher, Yonah, excused me from some of the other classes for an hour or two each week, took me to the school library, and gave me some history books. I would just sit there and read about the Romans and the Chinese and the Mongols and the Inca. It was fascinating. The books I read as a child had a huge impact on who I became as an adult. More recently, when I wrote 'Unstoppable Us', I felt like I was writing it for my younger self. This series has one key message for kids: the world in which we live didn’t have to be the way it is. People made it what it is. And people can change it. Books can transport us to other worlds at all ages, but perhaps even more so in our childhood. This woman left her car plugged into the charger over 10 hours too long. Her apartment complex charges $10 an hour if anybody leaves their cars plugged in once charged. I think there needs to be rules in place so others can enjoy the benefits of having a charger on site. I also feel there needs to be respect as well. When I briefly had an EV, what was nice about the app was that once my car was charged, it notified me that it was charged. That way I was able to go and move it out of the way so I wouldn’t be charged fees. While I think it’s fair to be charged a fee, I think what would be a great compromise for these apartment complexes is that they all have to have an app accessible for anybody who uses it. That way notifications can be used an a warning. After an allocated time if the car wasn’t moved, then they can start charging people an idling fee. That’s just my opinion, I believe in rules but I think there should be a little understanding as well since life happens quick for people.

That way I was able to go and move it out of the way so I wouldn’t be charged fees. While I think it’s fair to be charged a fee, I think what would be a great compromise for these apartment complexes is that they all have to have an app accessible for anybody who uses it. That way notifications can be used an a warning. After an allocated time if the car wasn’t moved, then they can start charging people an idling fee. That’s just my opinion, I believe in rules but I think there should be a little understanding as well since life happens quick for people.
