Trying to bite an officer is "just for resisting" arrest? The offender now poses a danger to law enforcement and the greater public at large "if" he would escape. When a person gets violent with law enforcement, law enforcement has an obligation to subdue the offender at all costs. It is their job!

Yes, that is how anybody resisting should be handled. That is how anybody who gets within 10 ft of a cop or ICE during an arrest after multiple warning should be handled. This is how anybody who assaults an officer should be handled. This is how violent offenders who just carried out an attack should be handled.
