It’s one of several doors leading into this room at St. Peter’s Basilica (note the Pieta). It was only “hidden” because they previously sealed this door within a wall and kept it locked. They stopped the hammer and chisel part of the ceremony “due to safety reasons”. But creepy ritualistic behavior for sure. Definitely not my kind of “Jubilee” moment.
