Is MAGA a cult? Ask many a family member who has lost a loved one if they think MAGA is a cult. Ask experts who study cults, the signs are there. Of course, the conspiracy theory media & social network will be working overtime; spreading fear, imaginary threats and monetizing the gift that will keep on giving!

No. When a man is as broken as Donald Trump is held up mad a savior, it’s a cult. “Deprogramming” is a nice way to put it. These people would follow this man off a cliff if he told them to.

Are Trump’s MAGA Loyalists a “cult?” Former US Army General Barry McCaffrey said that Trump MAGA Loyalists giving us a parallel to Germany in the 1930s. He specifically stated: "What we are seeing is a parallel to the 1930s in Germany. I don't say that to the Republican Party, that 15 to 25 House members, a couple of Senators, and all of those who are Trump, MAGA loyalists. This is a cult, it is a lawless cult, and it is a major threat to the armed forces of the United States and our security. It is shameful to talk about General Mark Milley.” There is certainly some behavior that would mimic a cult, seen by some who refuse to leave his side or those who say they will stand by him even if he’s found guilty.
