Did Hocevar take out Blaney? Or did Blaney make the block too late?

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport I’m old enough to remember when blocking and mirror driving wasn’t an acceptable part of racing and considered to be chicken shit moves…. We should get back to that mentality.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Come on Steve you were changing tires in the prime of the golden era. You know the answer. Even Ken Schrader would’ve sent him into the concourse for a block like that in the day.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport During race Blaney took out Blaney... after race Hocevar took out Blaney.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport With 42 laps to go if you chop someone's nose to block them, especially it being another driver in the championship then its all on you.

It's Blaney's fault 100 percent. Of course he says 50/50, he's in PR crisis mode, that's the smart thing to say when you started the wreck AND the fight. He literally said in the podcast that each driver races others based on how they race and prepare, and he knows Hocevar won't lift. His own spotter told him 'you're not clear.' So what does he do? Comes from the top of the track all the way down to block, wrecks, blames Hocevar, and starts a fight. Then 48 hours later he's on Hamlin's podcast doing crisis management saying it's 50/50.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport 100% Blaney’s fault

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport You said it on the broadcast, Blaney was blocking

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Steve, to my untrained eye I don't see Hocevars car nose move(travels straight). Watched Dale's '89 and '99 wrecks with Bodine and LaBonte and looks like Dale's nose turn right. Carson is in the chase, has every right for where he is at on track.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Blocked . Then got rocked. Bristol…awesome lol

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport I bet Ryan Newman wished Blaney would have checked up too.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Blaney 100% block to late.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport And if you're just a flat out racing fan and not a fan of either one, then you know Blaney threw a bad block and wrecked himself

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport It may be just a little but Blaney was late. His spotter even said inside inside. It’s on him.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport @NASCAR has adopted a system of “I almost passed you so let off and give me the spot”. If you actually pass someone you don’t run the risk of coming across their front bumper when you change lanes. Letting off for the guys benefit that’s trying to take your spot?

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Blaney

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Rb is 2 lanes off the top, no excuse, u block u pay

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport I think Blaney came down on Hocevar

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport The Punk took out Blaney.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Hocevar shows zero respect for others and drove thru @Blaney

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Hocevar did not take out Blaney. Blaney didn’t want to run the top and tried to make a block on someone wasn’t going to let up. Hocevar doesn’t owe it to Blaney to lift but it’s eventually going to come back to bite him.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Another question is did Blaney’s spotter clear him or did he say STILL THERE? Anyone get the spotter coms?

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Good job explaining the situation

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport HOCEVAR wrecked him. Payback is coming..

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Its on blaney. Us as fans all know how carson drives. You know dang well the drivers do to. Blaney put himself in a position to teat the theory. Not. Smart on his part

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Late block, I wouldn’t have lifted either.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport It’s easy very easy know who your blocking

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Half ass blocks get those kind of results.

@NASCAR @jamiemcmurray @Motorsport It depends if you are a biased TV personality. The fans and any rational logical person knows Blaney came down, caused the wreck. But you folks that are biased, and any contact at any time is the 77’s fault, show your Lying nature.

NASCAR spent forty years laundering a feudal garage code as “respect,” then acted shocked when a mid-pack Chevrolet refused to yield the bottom to a Penske Ford that had already cleared him. The organization never wrote the pecking order into the rulebook because it didn’t have to; every official, every veteran interview, every “he needs to learn” lecture after a wreck taught the same lesson. The only reason that code is finally cracking is because Michael Jordan’s 23XI treated NASCAR like the monopoly it is and dragged the charter system into federal court instead of politely asking the France family for a better deal. Spire simply applied the same logic on the racetrack: if the charter fight proved the old hierarchy was extractive, then so is the unwritten rule that a 23-year-old in a Zeigler Chevy must lift for a former champion. Blaney grabbing Hocevar on pit road was not passion. It was the last spasm of a system that assumed the sport still belonged to the people who had always owned it. NASCAR’s decision not to penalize either driver is the closest the sanctioning body has come to admitting the pecking order was never official policy, just a habit it just now realized was ruining the sport.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Both. It was awesome.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport It's over please move on. Your comments on the broadcast were spot on. So thankful that you're in the booth. Not a fan of the other two

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Winner's don't lift

@NASCAR @jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Block

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Both.

@jamiemcmurray @Motorsport Spot on!
