close enough, welcome back iOS 6

🫶

Coming to a TestFlight on Discord later

No such thing, it's gorgeous.

Now that we can make software without having to have something like this vetted for feasibility we can do so much fun stuff 😊

@mattcassinelli Delicious library?! Is that you?!

Not at all, it’s so clean! Seriously love everything about this! Do you have a way to auto-import games that you own on digital? Would infinitely prefer this to tracking my current game list vs just scrolling through alphabetical lists of titles.

So @cibbyapp is very much a physical collectors app (database is build for physical releases) bur would be fun to do a digital counterpart to this at some point.

no but it feels a little bit cramped

What a Delicious Library you’ve got there!

I know you did this for the purpose of video games, but you did an absolutely 10/10 job on this. It’s beyond amazing. Would you consider making an app for other types of media collections such as movies/tv and music?

Would love to do this for books also at some point.

Not a chance 🔥

Good! Need more customization in UI 😂

@Pinsky What did you build this with??

@Pinsky Claude & Xcode

@Pinsky Is the UI custom? Or did you find a UI from GitHub? I’m working on something similar for trading cards. Love the sorting and customization of how I could view my cards

@Pinsky All custom

no sir 🔥

Good. Because I love it.

This is amazing! 😮 Did you just rebirth a new Delicuous Library? I’ve been using V3 when though the app has been shuttered. 😁

Specifically for video games only though, but yeah @cibbyapp has a lot of that delicious design.

Not at all

Check the old Delicious Library app by @mike_matas (and another guy). It might be a good source of inspiration. At the time, they were the first to use the camera (iSight) to scan codes from books, games, etc., and retrieve info from Amazon (and push affiliate suggestions).

Never

the more options you give to the user, the more confused the user is.

What a sad way to think about users

it's actually a rather correct way to think about users. more options lead to more confusion, and confusion leads to churn. regular (not twitter designers) users don't want to use your app, they want to get shit done and if your app makes that easy, that's what they end up using.

Empower users to customize their interface and see them take greater pride and ownership in the surfaces they touch.

I'd argue most things are under-engineered. This is fantastic!

make the walls have a container style like cargo

Got a reference?

Nah that’s sick. Nice work

Thanks!

No sir

The perfect amount of engineering! 👌

Never!

Not at all! 🙏

pre-iOS 7 and Liquid Glass 😮💨

looks awesome

Ooh what’s this Delicious Library 4?

Cooool

Looks beautiful! Keep it up! Something out there for everyone!

Honestly? This isn’t over-engineered — it’s under-designed. Could use more polish, not less.

Got any pointers for polish you’d like to see?

Mate this is looking sweet 👌 The whole bookcase design works a treat

nah its perfect, good job

Gawd damn. I wish I collected video games now. 🤩 That would also be lovely for books or TV shows, by the way. Just saying.😏

I also collect books, so would love to do something like this for books.

Who cares! Be free. It's your software you can do whatever you want. People should experience the joy of making software for themselves. Curating and designing your digital space is similar to making your own physical space

Reminds me of Delicious Library (

DVD case isn’t properly stamped, but the DVD consortium logo 😂😂😂

Over engineering, yes. Is it bad, hell no.
