Under the Biden administration, 540k+ unaccompanied minors came into the U.S.—More than 320k were essentially unaccounted for. Both Noem and Thomas D. Homan have vowed to locate these minors. Jeffries, D-NY, also criticized Noem for saying that a program to issue body cameras to Department of Homeland Security officers will be expanded nationwide, “as funding is available.” “Kristi Noem has zero credibility,” Jeffries told PBS News’ Geoff Bennett (Geoff Bennett). “Certainly, it is the case that body cameras should be required.
