In fact this is the first time I've learned you can do it through the terminal.

I bet you could drop any random hellpod onto it to break it.

I figured that out after I had a charger run through one and it completed my objective

I found that out when I was in the middle of tapping the screen and a charger blindsided me and it took out the tower. Then said objective complete. I was so confused lol

I’ve always just shot it with an auto cannon from across the map lol

Originally I remember it would glitch out and not count as complete, now I snipe it from across the map with a EAT-17 Disposable Rocket XD

That's what I've always done. I just learned like yesterday there was a way to shut them down other than just bombing them :D
