This makes no sense….. if you centralize BTC like Sayor says in this clip, it’s not BTC anymore, it will be trusted no more than any other centralized, controlled currency. Also, I believe BRICS & others would happily dump their BTC to buy US gold and then outlaw BTC.

The U.S. already pulled the rug from the rest of the world in 1971 when it dumped the gold standard.

Opting to replace gold with Bitcoin in national reserves is absurd. Bitcoin's notorious volatility undermines its role as a stable asset, its value is built on speculation rather than substance, and its digital nature makes it a prime target for cyber threats. The absence of a clear regulatory framework worldwide introduces further chaos into international finance. Moreover, such a shift could disrupt global economic trust, lacks historical precedent, and Bitcoin's mining process is huge waste of energy. In essence, it's a poorly considered idea with potentially catastrophic consequences.
