Did this government had an initial plan to create a service lane in the coastal road or it’s just something they wake up one day and decided to demolish new buildings in other to create a service lane? Investing in this country is a huge risk. .

This is the Apo/Wasa road in the FCT. The road is supposed to be a dual carriageway, but Wike ran one lane, not even to the end and organized a commissioning ceremony, even with nothing done on the second lane. Nigeria has never had it this bad. Why commission uncompleted roads?

On 12/27/2024 a KHP Trooper stopped a motorist who was driving the wrong direction on the four lane US-75 highway through Montgomery County. The Trooper found that the motorist had just left a bar, had a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.132, and had an open container of vodka in the floor board. Fortunately this motorist was stopped and removed from the road before a crash occurred. Driving impaired doesn't just put you at risk, it puts the lives of everyone else on the road at risk as well. This New Years Eve choose to be a responsible driver and plan ahead to have a sober ride, designate a sober driver, or use a ride-share service. This woman is using a bike lane as a walking lane as well. There is a car behind her trying to beat the traffic and driving in that lane. They are driving slowly behind her yelling at her to get out of the way and antagonizing her. She starts to record them because they are being reckless and have come close to hitting her and other cars. The car even cuts off the other cars as the lane is being blocked by a pole. I understand she’s mad because the car was where they weren’t supposed to be, however the bike lane is a bi-directional bike lane, it isn’t a bike lane on one side and a walking lane on the other. So who is wrong here, are they both wrong for using the bike lane when neither one is on a bike?

Take a few mins and just look at this. This is a real life video. This is not AI. Watch how random strangers rescue a man who had an accident in Oghara Delta state. This was only a few days ago. The absence of reliable, efficient and timely emergency response to accidents is alarming and upsetting. No ambulance in sight. No trained paramedics at all. No police or fire service in view. No road safety officials anywhere. Just a confused crowd trying their best to save the lives of people in danger. That random people had to do this to save someone’s life is a complete total shame to us all as a country and it’s a proof that the parasites in government are a totally useless worthless bunch.

I am all for bike lanes. When and where necessary. But in New Orleans, eliminating a lane for vehicular traffic to make it a bike lane when there’s no cyclists is crazy. Like Baronne Street downtown or Gentilly Boulevard, Marconi has this ridiculous set up where a lane of traffic is lost to a bike lane with no cyclists.
