Not really, cuz it's removable. As long as it doesn't cause structural damage to the framing of the upper level, he's good. Nothing a set of wire cutters to cut the rope, and some simple drywall mudding/woodfiller to fix the big eye hook holes into the studs and drywall wouldn't fix.

@j0ker937 He totally ruined his house. He can never sell it. Pulling the lag bolts out, patching the holes and painting would never work….

@mcgmouton57 Fast forward to 3 months later talking to the doctor in the ER "she's appear to have taken quite a fall, we're going fuse L3 and L4 of her spinal column, she may never walk again, but she's young and the human body does miracles sometimes. Any idea how she could have fallen?"

You need to put some safety equipment in front of those windows. If one of those kids runs into those windows hard enough, there could be a bad accident.
