People who mock the “spiritual eyes” comment have never had a sacred experience. Those who know, know.

“Christ is not found among the dead but among the living!” 👀

Per a collection of Church News articles, he first visited Jerusalem in 1966 as a young pilot and has returned numerous times throughout his life. He most recently visited Jerusalem and the Holy Land around April 20-22, 2023, where he met with local members and spoke at the BYU Jerusalem Center.

I look at everyone when he said that no one else had the same reaction😭so amazing to hear tho

@inkstaindgrmnts He’s like Martin Harris

@inkstaindgrmnts You mean David Whitmer;)

@stackerco @inkstaindgrmnts Martin Harris, brother. Whitmer claimed he saw them in a visionary experience with an angel.

@RestoredTruth8 @inkstaindgrmnts lol. Yep. I mean Martin Harris.

I don't know how many Apostles have to admit this out loud before some members will get it.

Anointed eyes. Spiritual eyes. Eyes of a seer. (Moses 36:35-36): “Anoint thine eyes…and he beheld also things which were not visible to the natural eye; and from thenceforth came the saying abroad in the land: A seer hath the Lord raised up unto his people.”

Spiritual eyes!

I thought the same thing!

They want us to know the resurrection is real. People will be raised from the grave & enter our cities as they did in times past. The veil will be lifted from our eyes & with our new spiritual eyes we receive as new creatures in Christ, we shall know Him & also be known by Him.

Special witnesses...

@BlackBlessedLDS Sounds like the testimony of a special witness of Jesus Christ. I love it!

It’s the exact same verbiage Martin Harris used to describe seeing the plates. 🤔 I definitely caught it.

Haha yes Martin also said he saw it with his natural eyes and that’s what he meant by spiritual 🫡

That’s what happens when you trust chat gpt as your source for history

Do you see those links? Yeah - they’re actual sources. I mean it’s great you’re trusting “faith” but don’t bury your head in the sand… ✌🏼

If anyone is burying their head in the sand it’s you. lol. You haven’t read those links either that’s the sad truth

Whoa

Sadly, I see a lot of swine in the comments.

Yes 🥹

Let me guess. I suspect this is a Mormon leader who said something that all the other Mormons believe and it probably gave a big “warm and fuzzy” to all. Looking from the outside, I can call it what it is, a form of confirmation bias mixed with mass psychosis.

No that’s incorrect haha

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1Cor 2:14

He’s admitting that apostles don’t see Christ.

🤦♂️

Woah…

Sadly that not the same thing here

The trolls are sure out trolling pretty hard. The protestors outside the conference center seemed to be especially loud/hostile this conference too. Wonder what that's all about....🤷🏻♂️

Oh I caught it! He did NOT say he had SEEN the Risen Christ. Therefore he is NOT a true apostle. Thank you!

@jadekoyle Was there mention of a PLANE?!

Sure did.

Did he change ties? At the end of conference it’s different? 🤣

@BlackBlessedLDS Yes :)

no planes

"Spiritual eyes" is a fancy way of saying I saw it in my mind's eye. In other words, his imagination. Same as when what's his name said he saw the golden plates with "spiritual eyes".
