OMG the Killer Bee scare of the 70s and 80s. I remember as a kid all the talk about the Killer bees were on the way to the USA from South America. Then they made this movie!

Killer Bees. Remember this in the Disaster Movie era like Airport. A terrorist bomb goes off on a plane. Earthquake, etc. Never could remember the name. Stuck with me. The swarm in the bell tower.

So like 99% of the killer bee stuff on the news for like a decade back in the day was BS and was mostly just harvesting the fear created by programming like this. Fear = emergency spending. Duly noted.

I remember “THE SCARE” then the movie in my youther days. 1st-So many good actors in that corny a$$ movie. 2nd-how would a passenger car blow up like that. 3rd-these were the only true Killer Bees!!

Proper "B" movie (hehehehe) Even as a kid I knew that train carriages would not explode but hey, it's Hollywood 😂 Didn't stop me enjoying it and then buying the DVD when I got older.
